Excellent front desk, but WiFi needs improvement
Services were professional and excellent, especially at the reception desk.
The major problem was the internet service. WiFi was free, but wasn't functioned well in the room (during my two times stay). It is very inconvenient for a tourist.

Good service, not so good accomodation
Initially, we booked a room with double queen size beds at a rather cheap price through expedia (Around $120 SGD). The room was okay but the wallpaper made the room feel really dull and honestly I felt that the designs were very clashing.
However, the receptionist informed us that we could change (upgrade) our room by topping up. So we changed to a Japanese style suite for four. The Japanese style suite was way bigger and nicer as compared to the previous double queen size bedroom. However, one of the beds were tatami mat style and I would not recommend it to people who have never slept on one before.
There were some other issues during our stay as well, I had quite some mosquito bites on my legs on one of the night because I left the windows open. The bites look like those made from bed bugs but the receptionist assured me that it was a kind of mosquito that was around the area due to the season.
The breakfast was below average in my family's opinion. The breakfast was chinese style however, the restaurant is located in the basement and the lack of ventilation made the place smell bad. This included the lift in the morning as people take it to the basement. Similarly, some of the mainland tourist were quite rowdy of sort but I guess it was okay if you are open minded.
Other then these issues, our stay at Ren Mei Business Hotel was quite pleasant due to the service the receptionist provided. They provided pillows and blankets upon request. They also sterlized and changed all the mattresses and pillows after I told them about the possible bed bugs. The receptionist also showed concern over my bite marks as she constantly apologized and even provided me with medicine to apply on my bites. They also informed us about the night market and small eateries around the area. Overall, the receptionist made our stay at Ren Mei Hotel a rather pleasant one.
