Good deal that lived up to our expectations
The breakfast was also quite outstanding with a wide selection. Hjallerup town has not much to offer, but we drove to Sæby and Hirtshals and experienced the two cities.

Comfortable stay for a few nights
First stop on our road trip, Hjallerup Kro. We felt welcomed, the room was on the back of the building, worth noticing there was no air conditioning, and we were lucky with hot summer weather. We found a trick to have the window wide open to give us a bit of fresher nigh air. The room was renovated, as well as the furniture. The bathroom showed its age. The bedding was comfortable, even if too soft for me. The starter + main dinner was simple and good. It feels a bit steep to pay for the tap water 40 dkr, but this seems to be a constant in every restaurant in Denmark.
The breakfast was good, thought simple in diversity of the food. This was expected level for a small village/road hotel. It was plenty enough to meet different breakfast style. Special motion for the warm lever pate with bacon and fresh bread, yummy!!
The personnel was courteous and professional.

Cozy inn and a nice place
Confessors were positively surprised, they were really cute and very friendly when we arrived. We arrived late in the afternoon and had certain coffee and cake when we arrived and it was ready for us.
We were excited about the room, but nothing and complaining, it was newly painted and dark curtains and fine furniture.
However, if you struggle with your back, yes, the beds are very soft, but that is the only negative.
Having read a little about parking conditions, however, new rules had entered into force per 1/1 -25 so no problems now, you park just.
As for the food, then there was nothing and put a finger on,neither the 3 dishes menu or breakfast.
Breakfast was so nice, fresh bits from the baker and nice filling. If you wanted , you could bake waffles yourself . If I finally have to find something negative, yes, it is the beverages, we don't drink wine or beer and usually just order water, but ordered 2 25 cl of soda ( Mirinda orange ) for 40 kr the piece, I thought it was in the upper edge, but probably just me that's nearby.
As for shields in ceilings in the hallways, yes so it is true, but there is nice clean otherwise.
Will definitely recommend it and we will definitely come back
