Nice campsite despite very large size

Nice big campsite. Pick your own place despite reservation. Is nice but then you have to be in time for the real beautiful spots in the dunes. Lots of capacity in terms of plumbing. The one near beach is outdated and may get upgraded. Direct access to beach and lighthouse 15min walk

Great location, but the quality does not match the size

Nice location right by the North Sea, and the small pool is a cosy plus.
Unfortunately, Denmark’s largest campsite does not live up to expectations. The biggest minus is the cleaning and lack of soap at the toilets. Toilets and shared bathrooms were often not cleaned. There are two major service buildings and two very small and worn down on the whole square which has over 1200 seats. There could be a good walk to the buildings.
The places are unnumbered, and not all roads are easy or accessible to drive by car and caravan when bored for your seat. There is also no power at all places, so a long power cable may be necessary.
The playgrounds are very limited with only a jumping pad and a little swing stand, and the kiosk has a small selection of goods.
The staff often do not speak Danish and have difficulty understanding Danish.
The campsite is very worn.
All in all a campsite with a great location by the North Sea, but it is a pity that the cleaning, information and the practical conditions do not accompany the size of the square for so many people. The majority of guests are German.
Was not a place we would recommend or would visit again

Top location.

Top location, everything clean, everyone friendly and helpful.
Supply and disposal as one would wish and sufficient.

Very disappointed

We had to leave shortly after setting up the tent on the same day because a storm with heavy rain disassembled our tent and flooded it coolly. We had paid in advance for a whole and despite multiple requests received no refund or credit with the reference to terms and conditions and “next time just better pay first on site”, zero goodwill, very bad.

Holiday in the middle of the dunes

Great campsite in the middle of the dunes. Lots of hidden places. The size is not noticeable. Super access to the wide sandy beach. Direct connection to bike paths. Super encore the free to use indoor pool. And in the small supermarket there is everything your heart desires. DCU membership is worthwhile. Don't forget extension cable.
