Warm team, great hotel, unforgettable celebration
We were allowed to celebrate our wedding at this hotel in September and could not have imagined a better place. Even the preparation in advance was straightforward, warm and very professional. On the weekend itself, the whole team did a great job – attentive, friendly and always on hand without ever seeming intrusive.
The food was fantastic, our guests still rave about it today. Also the rooms were spacious, very well maintained and offered ample space so that we and our guests felt comfortable from the beginning. Especially nice was the possibility to end the evening relaxed at the bar. The loving decoration at breakfast and many small details have made our weekend perfect.
We would like to thank the whole team – thanks to you we had an unforgettable wedding weekend!

Price / performance not right !!!
We were there 7 years ago ,had 1 week a suite with HP, was very good. Now in our 10th anniversary year we have booked a suite with HP again. Pure disappointment.Totally sag mattresses, which you could not change when complaining.So a week back pain endured. Sofa in the living room also only for children to use ,since too small and too hard.Reasonable. Eat only 3 stars Nieveau.Every evening the same starter buffet fat, main course very economical. Dessert 5 different,was okay.

Very nice hotel - restaurant with "air up"
We have been to this hotel several times and always fully satisfied. Friendly staff, clean rooms and the bathrobe walk to the salt bath are plus points. Bad Elster with its beautiful surroundings and many cultural offers is worth a visit in any season.
In the evening we ate only once in the restaurant and were disappointed. Both the buffet selection and the quality of the main course were not very rich or good.
Annoying at breakfast was the supply of black tea - there was only one type that had to be requested from the staff on both days, as the container was empty.

Wellness with minor flaws
Very thoughtful interplay of car park, hotel and thermal spa all connected with corridor. The suite was generously sized with plenty of storage space, relax chair and large balcony. Very nice the separate toilet, but unfortunately a bit narrow and no direct trigger. A shelf was missing in the shower. Unfortunately, ventilation was not possible, as the cigarette smoke moved from the balconies or outdoor area into the room and that in summer temperatures, very noisy rooms! Relaxed sleeping, in the really big, comfortable beds, looks different. Cleaning the rooms was very superficial. The breakfast buffet was good, the staff attentive, accommodating, nimble, on the other hand the dinner has a lot of air up, the quality of the main course left a lot to be desired, cooked vegetables or Asia noodles which have stood for some time and were hard as a result, somehow lacked the love for serving. Despite advice to the service staff, unfortunately no reaction from the kitchen, in this regard the staff could be better trained in dealing with the guest. On the other hand, the guys in the bar are great , for all of you thumbs up, that's real Service! The Albert Bath and the Sole Therme are simply wonderful, so relaxation goes. Our conclusion, unfortunately the price-performance ratio has a small skew, especially considering that we had the most expensive room category, then the expectations are accordingly high. What was positive, we were able to go to the Sole Therme free of charge from the side of the hotel, as not all pools in the Albert Bad were usable, due to revision. Nevertheless, Bad Elster is worth a short break, as the environment is very harmonious and well-kept.

Nice hotel, but unacceptable attitude in marketing.
It's actually a very nice hotel. On our Princess for one day 20th Anniversary we had five events there, which went, once we were able to get to the hotel (there were massive road constructions the hotel did not bother to tell us about and once in Bad Elster, instead of five minutes it took us an hour to get there. A little warning would have been much appreciated).
While I still believe that the hotel, in general, is nice and if you plan to stay in the area, you are likely to enjoy it, I must warn you if you plan any event there. They really got to work on their communication skills, and the number of calls and mails to have them respond exceeded the amount we exchanged with all hotels exceeding the total of the entire tour. Even settling our bill was a problem. Even though they have an image of the credit card (both sides) in writing, I was unable to get a final bill before we left. Then, they tried to charge the card so often that the credit card issuer canceled the card as they thought this was a fraudulent attempt to charge the card. I had to drive to our German office to get the new card. One would have thought they would apologize - their Marketing Director Michael Boerner asked us to stay away in the future. Wow.

vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung und für Ihren Aufenthalt in unserem Haus. Es tut mir wahnsinnig leid, dass Sie mit Ihrem Aufenthalt bei uns nicht vollends zufrieden waren. Ihre Kritikpunkte nehmen wir uns selbstverständlich zu Herzen und arbeiten eifrig an deren Lösung. Wir haben in allen Kanälen darauf hingewiesen, dass es eine Baustelle gibt, durch die das Hotel von der Stadtseite nicht erreichbar ist. Wie vereinbart, wollten wir den Betrag der Rechnung von Ihrer Kreditkarte abbuchen, was leider nicht beim ersten Mal funktioniert hat, da die Zahlung von Ihrem Kreditkartenunternehmen abgelehnt wurde. Nach mehreren weiteren Versuchen, gab es immer noch keine Freigabe der Zahlung, was uns schon sehr verwundert hat. Es tut mir leid, wenn die Aussage von Herrn Börner so angekommen ist, aber so hat er es sicherlich nicht gesagt. Wir leben von jedem einzelnen Gast und freuen uns darauf sie zu verwöhnen. Zudem zahlt jeder Gast unsere Gehälter und unser Kosten.
