Parkhotel is quite clean. I would recommend to change the carpet and curtains in Villa Nova though

Simple, nice staff, not ideal in hot conditions

This is a very mixed review. I've stayed here twice now, during the Bad Homburg Open tennis tournament. The hotel is very convenient to the park and the tournament. Unfortunately it was extremely hot when we were there in 2026 (28-33 degrees) and the hotel does not have air-conditioning. It is also a dramatically different story depending which side your room faces. If you're facing the front, just as it's finally cooling off outside, the bar starts playing ridiculously loud music that bounces off the other buildings making it impossible to sleep even if it were cool. If you're facing the back, you have the late day sun but it's much calmer and quieter. I'm not sure if I will go to the tournament again and also not sure I would do the Parkhotel again. The staff is all lovely, by the way, and better breakfasts can be had close by.

Used to be good, now no longer.

The Parkhotel is living off a great past. Unfortunately, nothing remains of the formerly good service. There are cobwebs in the corner of the bathroom. The staff does not inform you about the various facilities of the hotel (fitness, sauna, early check-in) at check-in. The guesthouse is in urgent need of renovation.

What a pity!

Here is a slightly sharper formulated version that still remains factual and credible:
Unfortunately, our stay at the Parkhotel Bad Homburg was a great disappointment, and we will definitely not book this hotel again.
The parking situation is already catastrophic. The available parking spaces are completely insufficient and cause unnecessary stress even upon arrival.
However, the behavior of the reception staff was particularly negative. The employees at the reception were not very friendly, hardly service-oriented, and in no way willing to help with problems. Additionally, the reception was not staffed during important times. We were promised a callback, which never occurred – a behavior that is simply unacceptable for a hotel of this category.
In the underground garage, we spoke with four other guests who independently described the same experiences. They also expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the service and the lack of willingness to help from the staff. It is obvious that this is not an isolated case.
Another significant point of criticism is the lack of air conditioning. There is neither an air conditioning system nor sufficient options for ventilating the rooms. In summer temperatures, the rooms heat up to such an extent that restful sleep is hardly possible.
Those who value service, accessibility, and comfort should, in our view, opt for alternatives such as the Maritim, the Steigenberger, or the Elaya in Oberursel. The additional travel time is worth it in any case.
This version comes across as significantly more critical without being unreasonable or aggressive.

Great location, super cleanliness, spacious rooms, great personal and friendly welcome, breakfast good.
Great value for money, anytime again.
