Design and hospitality
I stayed one night in the mountain view (Suite 4). Quick check in and friendly welcome drink. Thanks to Caroline. Always friendly and helpful. Very sympathetic. You dwell in the hotel. Matches the casual and casual atmosphere in the hotel. Hotel, suite and wellness area architecturally exceptionally beautiful. Congratulations to the architects Beham and the owners of the Tien family. There is so much to discover in the hotel. Suite with open sleeping area with bathroom (freestanding bathtub). Large window fronts, as in the whole hotel. Unfortunately no TV in the sleeping area. But a big screen in the living area. View of the rear forest area. Suites facing the Alps were fully booked. Here is a fantastic view of the Alps. Location of the hotel allows absolute silence. Wonderful!
Highlight the rooftop bar for the evening sundowner. Great view.
Breakfast and dinner are good. Gym unfortunately very small. No treadmill. A little more might be on offer here.
Concrete-look spa with several saunas and sunbathing areas. No steam bath, unfortunately. Heated outdoor pool very cool (concrete). Adjacent spa area with relaxation room and further sauna, infrared cabin and shower. Water, tea and fruit at leisure. Surroundings invites for biking and hiking.
Owner Ms. Tien personally welcomed me during the day and told me about my request from the planning to the implementation of the hotel in 2023. Thank you for that.

Nice hotel with potential
The access to the hotel is mostly clearly signposted. However, the entrance to the underground car park is quite narrow, but is easy to manage at a slow pace. Positively noteworthy are the two existing charging points for electric cars in the outer covered parking area, which can currently be used for a flat rate of 25 euros.
Access to the hotel is via the underground car park. The reception is a bit hidden at first, while the lobby itself is very modern and tastefully designed. At check-in, the service seemed rather restrained and not flexible, which clouded the first impression a bit.
The rooms are modernly furnished. The cleanliness was fine overall, but left some room for improvement in places. Particularly impressive is the view on the side with mountain views, which is truly breathtaking.
The bar works mostly on the self-service principle, in the evening there are also staff and liquor (closed Sunday). A positive aspect here is the large and free selection of board games, which ensures a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. A real highlight of the stay is the breakfast buffet with a large and high-quality selection. In addition, the staff in the breakfast area were by far the friendliest and most attentive.
Overall, the hotel presents itself as modern and with a lot of potential. However, the service and the customer orientation still seem a bit uneven, so there is certainly still room for improvement here. Spa and dinner we cannot judge because we did not use it.
The location is quiet and nice, the city center within walking distance (about 10-20 minutes).

Quiet design oasis
Quiet oasis near Bad Tölz for those seeking relaxation. This was our second stay for an extended weekend
Pro:
Quite new hotel (few years old)
Very appealing interior with lots of wood and warm tones and nice furnishings
Very contemporary hotel room with half open bathroom. Large shower cabin with pleasant water pressure and additional rain shower head. Separate toilet with door. Large window front and balcony.
Underground car park
Outdoor with chic design concept (Royal Botania) and many relaxation islands in the garden or on roof terrace with beautiful views of the mountains.
Versatile breakfast buffet, à la carte egg dishes, small delicious menu in the evening
Friendly staff and friendly staff
Hiking trails in close proximity to the hotel
Heated natural pool (sustainable without chlorine, floor and walls of the pool from the inside “allig-slippery” but did not bother me)

Our expectations were far exceeded
We spent 4 days on the wedding day in the mountains - and are absolutely thrilled. A relaxed, casual hospitality from the first minute. The hotel exudes a generous cosiness, with outstanding taste down to the last detail. Scattered everywhere are corners for easy-just-feel-good. Sit, read, marvel at the mountains, enjoy peace and quiet. Not to mention the wellness area: the panoramic sauna, the heated outdoor pool, the loungers - all generous, welcoming, tasteful. Even more saunas inside, there is unfortunately no view of the mountains.
Whatever you ask the staff, you are served cheerfully-loosely, sympathetically generously.
In the evening the food in the restaurant: small but fine menu, the things tasted fresh and authentic.
Breakfast buffet also: Sustainability not at the expense of diversity and taste. Excellent coffee.
