Rooms are functional and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and there was something for everyone. The seminar room was bright and equipped with everything and the e-motion base is great.

Not recommended – overpriced, restless, no goodwill in case of problems
However, what really upset me was the situation at night: A youth group caused massive disturbances of rest deep into the night, and sleep was unthinkable for hours. Despite multiple complaints on my part on site, the staff did not actively intervene – I had to try to provide peace myself, unfortunately unsuccessfully.
My written complaint was answered, but with a reference to “transparently communicated conditions” and the suggestion that the house was “different from a hotel business”. Reimbursement was categorically refused, although the agreed service – a quiet overnight stay – was objectively not provided.
Conclusion:
• Price quality ratio disappointing
• No goodwill or customer orientation for complaints
• Poor night's sleep despite high costs
I would have expected fair, responsible behaviour from a non-profit organisation such as a youth hostel. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I cannot recommend the accommodation under the circumstances.

Incredibly dirty hostel
Cleanliness of rooms: 6!
Friendliness of staff: 6
Quality of food: 5 for there was some.
Unbelievable that in this day and age such quality standards are still approved as a youth hostel! Multiple complaints of the guests/teachers are smiled away and not taken for full!
Silverfish everywhere and then to claim that you are not approached locally borders on sheer scorn!
Health Department will be informed!

Accommodation and the whole environment very, very bad.
The complete environment of this youth hostel is grottoes bad.
The beds without slatted frame only a plywood panel as a base.
The bathroom leaves a lot to be desired, partly silverfish in the entire room continues the cleanliness very, very poor. It was cleaned during the 3 weeks only on weekends when the room had to be vacated the room inadequately. The food in the accommodation was reasonably bearable with the same being prepared here weekly. The only positive of the 3 weeks was the staff who tried to steer the whole thing in the right direction to some extent.
