High quality apartment

Residenz Jacobs provides high quality serviced apartments in Ballenstedt with good access to the Lower Harz Naturepark. The Residenz is a renovated 18th Century house on the main boulevard in town, just below the Schlosspalace. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment at the top of the house with a truly magnificent view down the superb boulevard and across the town roof tops. The apartment (Apartment von Krosigk) is spread across two floors with very spacious rooms and excellent quality fittings and furniture, including a good kitchen. Each bedroom has a fantastic bathroom and the living room has a small balcony (did I mention the great view?). Both Wifi and ethernet are available in the apartment, free parking is on-site at the rear of the building and Carolin speaks reasonably good English. There were only two negatives - the Wifi was poor inside the apartment (good on the landing) and the building only has stair access to the top floor. Ballendstedt is a quiet town with decent grocery stores and a small number of restaurants but provides a good base for the Lower Harz area for walking, fishing, etc and to nearby Quedlinburg (10 minutes) - you will need a car. This is easily a four star apartment in a central location and is excellent value at just over €100 per night. Excellent!

Immer unsere erste Adresse!

Mittlerweile kann man uns sicher schon als Stammgäste der Residenz bezeichnen. Seit Jahren kehren wir, wann immer ein Besuch in Ballenstedt ansteht und eines der Appartements buchbar ist, hier ein. Die Unterkünfte in diesem familiengeführten altehrwürdigem Haus sind liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Durch die Lage Ballenstedts, der Wiege Anhalts, sind die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten des Harzes schnell erreichbar. Die Residenz-Jacobs garantiert die nach einem anstrengendem Ausflug notwendige Erholung.

Großzügig

Hohe Räume, helle Möbel, komfortable Matratzen und Spitzenlage. Familie Jacobs hat eine Traum-Immobilie in Ballenstedt erworben und unter viel Arbeit wunderbar saniert und Gästen zugänglich gemacht. Punktabzug für die Dusche und zu wenig dunkelnden Rollos. Gern kommen wir wieder.

Super schönes Wohlfühl-Appartment

Ein sehr schönes Haus zum Wohlfühlen. In direkter Nähe befindet sich das Schlosshotel, hier hat man die Möglichkeit zu frühstücken. Im Garten befinden sich Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder. Die Vermieterin Frau Jacobs und ihre Mitarbeiterin waren sehr nett und haben uns viele Ausflugsziel genannt. Wir werden die Residenz-Jacobs für unseren nächsten Harz-Urlaub wieder wählen!

Super schön!!!

Da wir aufgrund familiärer Gegebenheiten öfter in Ballenstedt nächtigen und schon eine ganze Menge der angebotenen Unterkünfte ausprobiert haben, können wir nun endlich sagen, wir haben die allerbeste Unterkunft gefunden!!! Es ist KEIN Vergleich mit den Hotels in der direkten Nachbarschaft in Ballenstedt und umzu. Diese sind abgewohnt und offerieren eine mehr schlechte als rechte Qualität!!! Wohingegen die Appartments der Residenz ein Traum sind!!! Die Gastgeberin Frau Jacobs war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend!!! Es gab u.a.kostenfreie Informationen über Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Die Appartments sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail und sehr modern eingerichtet, es ist alles vorhanden für das tägliche Leben und es ist blitzeblank sauber!!! Es war sogar weihnachtlich dekoriert!!! Wir kommen gerne wieder und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen!!!
