Beautiful hotel near the center of the village

Good experience, no particular worries, the room was large, clean and well equipped (TV and small fridge). Spacious shower with side jets. Note that the rooms may lack brightness because the windows are only located along the corridor.
The breakfast buffet is very complete.
The hotel is located near the center of the village, everything is within walking distance, including the banks of the Rhine about ten minutes.
The staff is very friendly.

Excellent price/performance ratio

Excellent value for money: modern, friendly, clean room, comfortable bathroom, rich breakfast, pleasant "hosts".
Some noise from the street in the morning. Very reasonable price.

Perfect for hikers, would definitely come again!

Our very friendly hostess welcomed us warmly with a drink and asked us about our preferences for breakfast. She also gave us good tips for the evening in Braubach. Unfortunately, we had already booked our restaurant (Goldener Schlüssel) from home, so we couldn't follow the recommendation. But we looked at the recommendation (Philipsburg) and came to the conclusion that it would definitely have been worth it. The ambience alone was very nice... Afterwards we went to the vineyard right on the Rhine, which is also highly recommended for a nightcap after a long day of hiking. There was a party organized by the local motorcycle club, it was well attended and the band played in good spirits.
The room in the Rabennest is very large and nicely furnished and very clean. The mattress left nothing to be desired. There is a Fritzchen. The shower is a dream. Enough space for two under a rain shower, towels with a good grip and decent quality. Decent hairdryer. Perfect for us. Breakfast the next morning left nothing to be desired either. A plate with ham, salami, various cheeses, tomatoes, cucumbers and mozzarella, hard-boiled eggs, three different types of bread rolls, fruit, various spreads and delicious, strong coffee. Bags for taking bread rolls with you are also available. The hostess speaks good English. You feel welcome and well looked after in the hotel. We would love to come back!
