Beautiful location. Hotel is so much nicer than the pictures on the Hotel com website. Staff are so friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be back

A big disappointment

A big disappointment. The bathroom was too small, the shower door could only open 1/4. The soap dispenser hangs over the toilet. Window shielding a jumble of everything and everything. The menu is a joke. All week long choice of : cut, steack, pasta, curry, salmon and pizza. For steack you have to impose 15 euros !! The “salad buffet” is a daily glass with carrot, olives, 1 tomato and 1 leaf of lettuce with a watery dressing. You also don't know what the starter or dessert will be.
The room will NOT be done the day after arrival. They say that's not necessary. So make your own bed and look for towels. I pay for a hotel service from arrival!
The breakfast buffet : adequate snacks, but virtually no choice of bread. No fresh fruit. Canned fruit salad.
The Wifi does more than that. When inquiring, the shoulders are shrugged.
One night there was a meal that ran out after a funeral (no family). Customers flew into a corner and we had to wait more than 45 minutes for our food.
Two years ago we were there too and things went very differently and they got a big five. Now a skinny three. And that because the food was good and there was a friendly waiter. But back there? NO

Pleasant holiday

We spent a week at the Hotel Peifer and can only report positive things, the two sisters live what they do every day from the heart, the food was always delicious ,sufficient and varied, a praise to the kitchen team.The rooms were cleaned regularly. Well and the nature and sights were also within easy reach by bike. We can only recommend it. With floral greetings Corinna Ecke and Peter Klügel

The last time

I would like to share our positive experiences. We were very satisfied with the surchargeable half board (31.80€) qualitatively. Also the selection was ok, only that within three days the selection was repeated.
However, we had spiders in all corners due to the proximity of the forest. We addressed this and the partly overwhelmed boss said: we do not clean on the first day .
The mattresses are so sagged that it goes up the mountain when you turn around. Darkening is not possible in the DG. Room 23 should be painted.
For the previous price I accept these weaknesses, but not for 140€ per double room.
Very good is the catering, parking and also the breakfast buffet. That was the feel-good moment, by no means in the room.
If it was my hotel I would check in myself and experience what it is like (not) to arrive. Daniel the young waiter in service we also the sister are top.

Unfortunately disappointed this time

We had booked for 2 nights a room with balcony, TV, Wi-Fi etc. The TV was broken. Therefore we were offered alternatively a room without balcony (worse category) for the same price. We decided to take the room with broken TV. Although Wi-Fi was specified in the room description this was not available. The towels were not exchanged, there was no room service. The drain in the sink was unfortunately also blocked.
Overall, the performance was unfortunately out of proportion to the called price.
We used to stay at this hotel several times, but this time probably the last time. That's a pity because we used to love being there.
