A fantastic aparthotel with recently modernised apartments
The apartment has been recently modernised and now features both a comfortable L shaped sofa in the very spacious lounge, and a fantastic walk-in shower in the stylish bathroom. An unexpected bonus was that the plentiful towels present on arrival were changed daily as needed - all part of the daily cleaning of the apartment by the helpful staff (also including making beds/restocking coffee machine etc)
A four ring hob coupled with a combi oven allows most meals to be cooked easily in the apartment, and there was a choice of eating at the nice big table in the lounge/diner, or outside on the really nice garden furniture on the terrace. The only downside to the terrace/balconies is that they only have limited views of the vineyards/forest trees, as are surrounded by other houses in a residential area.
Effective shutters keep out light at night, and there is a great air con unit to cool the room down on hottest days (c. 35 degs C when we were there). The bed is really comfortable, and loads of hanging/shelf space in the bedroom with more space available n the Lounge.
Breakfast can be arranged in the aparthotel's dedicated breakfast room - a wide choice of breakfast options, depending on your wishes, with the owners on hand to produce eggs to your order.
The hotel is located off the main road to the Schwarzwaldhochstrasse - a fantastic road across the back of the Black Forest hills, with its views for miles to Strasbourg, the Eiger and Jungfraujoch, as well as the much nearer Rhine plain around Baden Baden airpark. Fantastic walking and biking areas almost at every turn.
A fantastic, very comfortable apartment in a great location. Well worth staying at!

Tolles Hotel
Obwohl ich unter der Woche für eine Nacht der einzige Gast war, wurde ein tolles Frühstück gerichtet.
In schwierigen Zeiten so freundlich und zuvorkommend zu sein ist sehr bemerkenswert.
Das Hotel ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.
