Great place in Dulmen
I'm a regular at Bendix, coming once or twice per year. I am on my second stay this month with a total of about a week. It remains my favorite place to stay in the area...by far. Great room, great staff, great breakfast, I'll likely be back in the area January and February and will stay again. I do want to single out Frau Koch, who I found especially kind and helpful. Could not ask for a better and more attentive staff person. I'll be leaving Monday morning. My recommendations: Put a Nespresso machine in the all the rooms (like the one in the larger room I book when I come with my daughter), the coffee packets are not good at all - a small capital expense with a great benefit for those who chose stay here. Ands, one piece of advice to management. Move the tea kettle away from under the television...the steam from the kettle shows up on the screen and, certainly inside the unit. I think, will only degrade the electronics faster.

Another great stay
Was just at the Hotel Bendix a couple months ago with my wife, then back in July again with my daughter. As mentioned before, I'm here with either my wife or daughter once a year for about a week or so over the past several years. This time twice this year.
Another excellent stay. We love it for the proximity to an elderly aunt to family that lives in the Dulmen area.
It is, for us, always a first choice, We took the apartment as I was with my daughter for the separate sleeping quarters. Every thing was top notch with an excellent and helpful staff.
I'd highly recommend dinner at Hotel Jammertal, as related established a short drive away. Thoroughly enjoyed a meal with family there.
We are looking forward to next year's visit.

All great!!!
A great place to stay. Clean great breakfast, very nice staff. You just can't complain. Of course, the location is also top. Food at the inn is also highly recommended.

Great stay at hotel......issue with restuarant
We stay at Bendix for about a week in each of the past several years as it is close to family and across the street from my now 94-year-old aunt.
Normally we’ve taken the apartment, but this past time (May 14 -May 20) we took a room. The room was fine – clean and comfortable. Breakfast and breakfast staff are very pleasant. It could, however, really use a quality coffee maker in the roo, such as the Nespresso machine we had in the apartment. The instant coffee offered in the room is very poor quality. It is a small initial expense, but a great benefit to guests.
I especially appreciated the help of Ms. Bopp at the hotel and Ms. Jakuboski at the restaurant in helping me arrange to bring a meal for three from the adjacent Wirtshaus restaurant to my aunt one evening, as she had just returned from a hospital stay. They were kind, thoughtful and helpful…just wonderful. I travel quite a bit and always appreciate coming across people in the hospitality industry that help make things work for guests. It is the kind of thing people remember about an establishment when recalling a pleasant stay.
I did not, however, appreciate the reaction of the bearded man at the Wirtshaus restaurant (head waiter?). He displayed visible e irritation at the meal request, not only to staff, but to me, the guest. I found his reaction extremely rude, immature, and, inhospitable - especially of a 50 or so year old man. You just should not do this in front of a hotel guest. Not at all characteristic of what I’ve experienced at the hotel.
The Bendix Hotel is our first choice when visiting family in Dulmen, and likely will remain so.

Girls' weekend,Suite with sauna
We were here for the girls' weekend and treated ourselves to one of the wellness suites with sauna for the occasion. Number 104. It was a wonderful stay. The staff at the hotel and in-house restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is high quality and modernly furnished and could also be located in Berlin or Hamburg. Everywhere in the hotel you will find small nice memorabilia that point to the historical history of the building. The suite is furnished with additional kitchenette. Incl. fridge with freezer, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker , kettle and everything you need to cook. There is a living area with sofa and dining table. 2 TVs. A safe. The sleeping area is equipped with additional sauna and adjacent is the huge bathroom with rain shower. Everything was picobello clean. In the evening we went to eat in the in-house restaurant. Super delicious, especially the fish dishes are highly recommended.
After a long sauna night we went to the sumptuous breakfast buffet in the morning, where even the egg dishes were freshly prepared to personal taste. It was a very nice weekend and we would love to come back.:-)
