city visit
Stayed for few days in February as visiting the city. Within walking distance of city centre.
Great friendly staff, great gym area and sports bar attached to hotel which was really convenient.

Hard to cancel your stay
Due to family circumstances, we unfortunately had to cancel our vacation. According to the booking terms, cancellation was free of charge up to one day before arrival, and we cancelled 4 days prior.
Through Booking.com, we were told that a cancellation request would be sent to the hotel, which already felt a bit unusual. Unfortunately, we received zero response to this request via Booking.com, nor to a direct email sent to the hotel. Over the weekend, we tried calling the hotel, but were told that the person handling bookings was not available on the weekend. Today, just one day before our scheduled arrival, we still have not received any response.
Since we never actually stayed at the hotel, I cannot review the property itself, but their handling of cancellations and customer communication is downright poor.

Good hotel for a city break
We stayed two nights at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and tidy, and the breakfast was very extensive, although it was sometimes very crowded. The staff was friendly and helpful.
In the sports bar it was pleasant to stay thanks to the wide choice of beers and spirits. Thanks to its good connection to the city centre, the hotel is a great base to explore Frankfurt. Here and there some parts are somewhat dated, but overall we had a pleasant stay.

Room smelled really bad, like some type of chemicals, probably from carpet cleaning. The breakfast buffet was really disorganized. Nobody was controlling people coming in so it was really hard to find a table. It took me 15 minutes just walking around to find somebody leaving. The food was ok.

Positive surprise
The first impression is not the best, because the surroundings of the somewhat outdated hotel make a slightly "ruffled" impression. But:
Spacious and clean rooms, new spacious bathroom, balcony with views.
There is a really well equipped fitness area for guests.
Good meeting rooms with natural light.
Breakfast and buffet-style meals were appetizing.
The staff, no matter if at the reception, in the restaurant or other domestic staff, whom you simply encountered in the staircase, were professionally friendly.
Conclusion: Good choice if you are willing to accept small swaps and are not too fussy.
