Courtesy and hospitality in the heart of the Black Forest.

A truly warm and welcoming family-run guesthouse. We were given a very large and comfortable room, and for three evenings we dined at their restaurant, eating very well. Mrs. Angela was truly courteous, fulfilling all our requests and making us feel at home. We were also provided with valuable information for excursions in the surrounding area and the Konus card to travel for free on public transport.

Perfect Hotel in a Perfect Location

I recommend Gasthof & Pension Steppacher to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean and friendly hotel to stay while exploring the Black Forest. Exceptional staff, perfect location and the rooms are beautiful. Angela gave us a friendly greeting on our arrival and showed us to our large family room. The balcony was wonderful too. The room and the hotel itself were extremely clean and tidy. The years of care that have gone into running the business are evident, and the staff take pride in the hotel. Breakfast was excellent each morning, and service was always with a smile. The hotel is situated in a beautiful village close to lots of Black Forest attractions, making it ideal for us. We will definitely be returning for another visit! Thank you Angela for a wonderful stay!

Charming!

What a charming, family run Guesthouse. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and had a good sense of humor. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was good with some lovely walks nearby. Evening meal and breakfast both very good. We had a lovely stay.

Beautiful weekend

We were from Friday to Sunday guest at Gasthof und Pension Steppacher.
Our room was apparently brand new renovated. It was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and nothing was missing. Breakfast offered everything you would expect from a hotel breakfast including a freshly prepared scrambled eggs.
Likewise, we were very satisfied with the food at the inn. Everything was freshly prepared and very tasteful and you can tell that the chef worked worldwide and has a very good sense of delicious food.
Thanks to the hosts for the nice weekend and we will definitely come back soon.

A pleasure!

You expect a lot in this little place, but this restaurant is a revelation!
Everything is fresh and homemade, cooked with love and then a friendly smile for every guest - that's not something you can take for granted these days and deserves praise! A clear recommendation from us! We'll be happy to come back!
