Overall a great experience. One of the rooms had plumbing issues but easily resolved.

Terrible! Never again!
We had booked a room at Ibis Budget Augsburg Gersthofen.
On arrival at 16.35 we have checked in. We have not had a receipt but we have just paid the credit card.
Then we got a code for room 310.
When we opened the room we were shocked by what we found.
It was a non-smoking room but the room stank of smoke and inside was a pack of cigarettes.
The room was not cleaned from the previous guest. See attached photos.
After this we tried to reach someone from 16.45 to 17.15, but this was in vain. Also the button that was present for help had no effect.
On the door are the opening hours of the reception, it would be open from 17:00.
We waited until 5.15pm but no one came. After this we left, because after a car ride of 700 kilometers we needed a place to sleep which we still had to find.
The room is paid for.
On the same day I sent an email and communicated everything. To date, I have not received a response from Ibis.

Disaster - never again IBIS !!
Catastrophe - although properly booked late check-in was not possible. Also by phone no availability. The front door was unsecured open, toilets completely dirty + no Controller on site. Even in the follow-up to clarify the facts, we did not receive an answer to our questions.
For this Service the price of 89 € is anything but cheap. It is not yet clear whether we will stay on the costs.... we had to spend the night in the car (like others...)

Check-in not possible, emergency number not responding! Dangerous!
Disaster! Arrival at 0:45. Despite confirmed online check-in, the check-in machine did not work. You got in touch with the emergency number, Voice Mail. Despite multiple requests for a recall, no recall was made. We had to sleep in the car, with subsequent back pain.
