Super New Year's Eve
We had booked (4 P.) the New Year's Eve arrangement. Arrival on 29.12., departure on 1.1.
The package included 2x HP, 3x breakfast and New Year's Eve a comedy dinner (3 course menu).
We had a lovely room. Looked newly renovated. Towel change and room cleaning can be booked at reception if desired.
Parking available in front of the house (free of charge).
Directly from the house you can explore many hiking trails.
The team: Super committed, super nice and friendly. You can tell they're looking after their guests.
On New Year's Eve, the self-lounge was open extra late.
Value for money is good. We would book the arrangement again at any time.

Beautiful scenery, unwelcoming hotel
At the beginning of June 25, we redeemed an Animod voucher at Hotel h. The location is idyllic, the F was very good, the staff nice, but the building in a very poor state of maintenance (grass grows from the gutters, dirty balconies, unkempt environment etc.). Although we were the only guests in this huge house, we got a room with several stains on the carpet and down-home furnishings. If all rooms look like this, a recommendation for this hotel looks different! The expense for the hotel voucher was completely overpriced!

Small hotel with very good cuisine, spacious rooms and friendly operators
We (couple) stayed with my sister in this hotel from December 20 to 26, 2024 and lived in 1 double room and 1 single room directly opposite.
The rooms are very spacious and adequately equipped.
Since we have a small bitch (Chihuahua), this hotel was shortlisted from the beginning, because the operators themselves have a Chihuahua (Tyson) as well as a larger hybrid (Buddy), who got along very well with our Paula.
Tyson was immediately in love with Paula and Buddy was so happy every time we passed the reception.
The breakfast with homemade fresh rolls and great bread, a sausage and cheese platter, stirred and boiled eggs, several jams as well as cereal, fruit and various vegetables tasted very good every morning and strengthened us for the day.
Dinner (half-board) was equally rich with large portions and consisted of a wonderfully hot soup, a main course (with meat or vegetarian options) as well as a dessert. We were very satisfied every night.
The rooms are – as I said – very spacious with ample space in closets and plenty of storage facilities in the bathroom. They are a bit old in terms of decor (you could say “retro”) with beautiful views of the surrounding area. The owners told us that gradually the apartments and rooms are to be modernized.
TV with some Sky channels, internet and free Wi-Fi leave nothing to be desired.
We slept excellently here and felt completely comfortable and will come back if our health permits.

This is a wonderful, family run hotel. Bed and Breakfast with free car parking. There's a slight incline from the CP to the hotel, so be warned if you are frail. The bedroom we had, included a balcony which over looked the hills behind. There are no coffee/ tea making facilities. But we expected that, as we always bring our own. Bathroom is very clean. Clean towels and shower gel. Comfy bed too. Breakfast is a buffet affair. The dining room, is an ornate baroque style. You would be forgiven for thinking you had stepped into a Viennese tea room. Breakfast is 8 to 10. The bread rolls are freshly made on site. Absolutely delicious. Our hosts were kind, attentive and more than helpful to go that extra mile to make the stay comfortable. Sadly, due to staff shortages, there is no evening dining. Not a problem as there are a number of fine restaurants within a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Would recommend and will definitely come back.

Quite place to relax
The hotel is situated in a nice area, from our balcony we could see the cows next to us which was pretty awesome. Also the hotel is equipped with a nice ‘spa’ area with an amazing view. We only stayed here for two nights so we didn’t use it at all. The hotel has also a coffee shop that sells some amazing cakes as well. It is also 54mins away from Heidelberg which makes it a really nice day trip! While here we eat at two restaurants called Da Graziano and Da Lina, both very good! What we didn’t like much here was the room which is very outdated (although we loved the balcony), please remove the sofas and the fitted carpets which make the room look old and dirty! There is a radio attached to the bad which made me feel like I was back in the 70’s haha! Also the breakfast was very poor! On your arrival you have to choose a menu which then you are stuck with it for the whole stay. And it’s a shame for a hotel that has a sweets shop attached to it that does not offer at least one kind of sweet pastry at breakfast! The people here do not speak a word in English so it makes it impossible to communicate with them! Even the breakfast paper was in German which I don’t find it fair since they are dealing with foreign tourists! Parking was easy in front of the hotel!
