Seconf to none if not the best Pension - A piece of paradise in the Rheinhessen

We've been in many small hotels, Zimmers and Pensions. Ulf's and his team provide great hospitality that takes the great rooms and house to another level.
The rooms are very comfortable and full of attention to the little things that make your stay laid back, homey, and enjoy full.
Breakfast is very good and gives a good start to the day. Certainly worth the price! In our case, Ulf took the extra mile and helped us greatly to complement it with some needs.
Ulf is a source of information and is happy to share. The village (nice by itself for waking) is in mid-way between several old cities and on the wine root which makes it a good place for "star" tourism.

Good guesthouse

Good guesthouse. In principle, I can note only one serious drawback – the distance from the station, which in rainy weather and in the absence of taxi represents the problem. About twenty minutes by walk, not knowing the correct direction and without possibility to ask somebody (because the streets in rain are desert). Add to this that it's not easy to find the right way from railway station to the town - you should turn to right first, then down the stairs to the road and finally turn left under the bridge. Besides this wi-fi wasn't exceptionally good.

Cozy B&B

We stayed here one night a few days ago and thought it looked cozy. The owners made us feel welcome and check in was both speedy and efficient. We were shown up to our apartment and found it very good. The sofa bed was already set up as was the bedroom. My girls did complain that the sofa bed was hard, but we were only staying one night.
The owner gave us a parking spot because we reserved one.
Breakfast is €6.00 per guest and although enough choice, we found it rather expensive.
We booked this place through a well-known third-party site and on there it said that English is spoken. Unfortunately, the woman who checked us in didn't speak much English, so I had to rely on my Dutch to understand her. The same for the woman who checked us out. If English is spoken there, I would advise that they do try more for their foreign guests. I realise this place is located in a small German village and that most of their guests are German or German speakers, but make more effort to learn another language for the non-German speakers who do find their way here.

A great cozy place to stay!!!

Pension Zur Schlummerstube in Guntersblum Rhineland-Palatinate is simply on of the better places i´ve stayed, a cozy place and great breakfast, highly recommended! I´ll visit and stay there again next time when i´m in that area!

Fantastic property, fantastic people!

This is a beautiful, newly renovated Pension. The grounds and facilities are beautiful and cozy, and the apartment we had was amazing. The proprietors are very very nice and helpful. Highly recommend staying here!
