Excellent hotel and restaurant.
Spotlessly clean, superb food, very friendly welcome from the owners and staff.
We would highly recommend coming here, you will not be disappointed.
We left the the following morning feeling totally relaxed.

Varm welcoming and a cosy, familiar atmosphere.
Very clean and fresh everywhere.
We really liked this place. Excellent dinner with excellent service.
And the room was great. Modern but still nice and cosy. We would love to return to the Sax family at Klosterhof.

Everything you need and a bit more !

You can choose between existing and new buildings, which I recommend. Very nice staff. Here, the owners are also involved in the action themselves. Large parking in front of the door. Breakfast is extensive and open to special requests.

The Klosterhof - an Upper Swabian gem in the middle of one of the most beautiful cultural and natural regions in Germany!

Once again we were able to enjoy the warm hospitality of the Sax family and their consistently friendly and competent team at the "Klosterhof". We met there for a family reunion and everyone, even those who didn't know the "Klosterhof" before, were delighted!
Firstly, the location of the "Klosterhof" is perfect in two respects:
The hotel is quietly located on the edge of the former monastery district with a beautiful view (rooms in the new building) over meadows and fields and some of the old monastery buildings.
Secondly, the "Klosterhof" is located in the middle of Upper Swabia, which makes it an attractive starting point for a wide variety of activities. The cultural monuments of the Upper Swabian Baroque Route are in the immediate vicinity (e.g. Schussenried Monastery with the famous library hall, Steinhausen, Buxheim Charterhouse, ...).
The hotel is also an ideal starting point for nature lovers. The Federsee, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and quiet moors, such as the Wurzacher Ried, are ideal for hiking and cycling.
Lake Constance, Ulm, the Free Imperial City of Memmingen, etc. are also easily accessible from there.
To start the day, the "Klosterhof" impresses with a rich breakfast buffet with fresh, local products. In the evening, the chef and his team spoil guests with excellent cuisine, especially the Swabian specialties, mainly from regional production, in the restaurant or on the garden terrace.
There are also charging stations for electric cars and parking spaces for bicycles.
In general, careful attention is paid to sustainability in all areas.
For me/us, a place where you want to come back again and again and spend your vacation!
