The Room: We stayed in a large room with a balcony, minibar, and wall-to-wall carpeting. The bed was large and comfortable (180 cm), though the lighting in the room was a bit dim. The bathroom has a partially open layout, but the toilet is in its own separate room.
Gym and Running: The gym features dumbbells, a bench, a lat pulldown machine, and some cardio equipment, but it lacks a treadmill despite information to the contrary online. Fortunately, the hotel is a short distance from a series of small parks connected to each other, which works perfectly for a run of 4 km or more.
Parking: The parking garage is narrow, so you need to take it slow. The maximum height is 2 meters. It worked fine with our RAV4. You are let in via an intercom system connected to the reception.
Practical Info: We skipped the hotel breakfast and instead bought food at the BioMarkt and Back-Werk, both within walking distance. The hotel is otherwise ideally located near the S-Bahn and the Neue Flora theater in Altona.
In Short: A spacious and solid option in Hamburg with practical amenities right in the neighborhood.

4-star hotel with at most 3-star level
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, varied, if occasionally patchy, overall overpriced breakfast offer, clean, neat rooms. Quiet location inside and outside the house. Neat, not yet slack beds, clean linen. Underground garage with very narrow access but direct hotel access, but with partly significantly too low, at least mostly marked ceiling heights.
Cons: Already at check in the touch pad at working height for the receptionist disturbs, poor responsiveness. For the preceding guest, barely legible because too low and too steep standing - obviously intended for use by the sitting receptionist. Why should the guest touch it? Likewise, the touch pad is usable in the room, in-house phone call due to non-adaptable volume is hardly possible. The only armchair is clearly sat through, the desk chair unpadded hard, but ok. The lighting overall much too dark, sombre. So the scruffy, dark, carpeting is not so noticeable - at all: Dark carpeting? Seriously? The bath light switch is defective, works only by means of violent pressure/impact. The unnecessarily too small shower tray is already dry, but especially wet, extremely smooth, that and the missing handle provokes nasty slipping with the highest risk of injury. As is the sharp-edged, sloping metal cover of the wall connection. The one for the wobbling (spare handle???) Bracket Much too large, not fitting, clearly soiled shower head fell several times on the user during pressure changes. Bathroom floor with puddles of water to be picked up through cloths, probably from the toilet flush. The room was overheated, with no possibility of influence. What was really annoying was that the bar, supposedly open until midnight, was closed on Saturday at 10:30 p.m., the returnees were offered no alternative, as there is no catering, no restaurant operation except for breakfast. We would not go there again.....

Off hours staff were mostly interested in playing fusball amongst themselves rather than pay attention to guests arriving and WAITING at the bar for service. While the breakfast was good, it was way too expensive. I'd not stay here again unfortunately

Good location....little light
We stayed in Boston for 4 nights in September. We had booked a Large Klassik room through a portal and not directly through the Website. Breakfast was included.
The location of the hotel is good as it is only two stops to the main train station by S-Bahn and only about 5 min. walk to the hotel.
After the friendly welcome we then entered our room, on the first floor, the windows are facing the side street.
The entrance area of the room was very dark. Since there is also the wardrobe, we honestly didn't find that so nice.
On request we were told it was part of the “design” of the hotel.
Well, we found it rather disadvantageous as the cabinet is also in a darker tone and the small dimmable spots in this area do not make it so bright that you can easily look all the way to the back of the cabinet.
The bed comfortable, but the pillows, as so often in hotels, not neck support pillows, but a large pillow and a smaller one where the filling clumps quickly.
I am already sensitive about pillows, I gladly admit that
The bathroom, very large and also bright. There was a large bathtub, a bidet, an illuminated make-up mirror and a shower, which should have been about larger, given the size of the bath.
On the minibar was a Nespresso machine, whose capsules were refilled every day.
The room and bathroom were very clean. However, in summer temperatures I would miss the air conditioning even more. Also because of the nocturnal soundscape, with open windows.
We ate a little something one night at the hotel, were advised and served by a very nice staff. But the salad was actually not edible. Apart from the brown spots on the salad leaves, the dressing or balsamic cream was much too sour. Too bad, actually.
Breakfast... well, that was a disappointment for us and not appropriate for a 4-star hotel. It was obviously “everything there”, but every day the same or the cut three cheeses again and again at a time. Absolutely no change ... that only becomes apparent when there is more than one night.
The baked goods, what can I say.... Convenience is available in most hotels, but here it was already noticeable. The crust on the outside of the bright buns had chipped off every day. The rest were exclusively dark rolls with grains. Bread ... Misrepresentation, only a kind of baguette dark with grains was available on all days.
The breakfast room, which also serves as a restaurant in the evening, we found very pleasant, with comfortable armchairs and discreet music.
On our last day, the hotel had become much more crowded, so we felt that the staff was reaching their limits when it came to refilling cheese, for example.
There were either three or no cheese slices on the plate for a long time.
Considering that it is a 4-star hotel and that it is due €25 for breakfast, this is already meagre, although one could argue with sustainability.
Since the hotel also offers apartments, we would have liked to have looked at one, especially in terms of brightness. Unfortunately, we were told: “Unfortunately, we don’t do that”... then it was said that the apartments were fully booked.
Too bad, because that might have been an alternative for future stays.
Finally, unfortunately, I have to say the size of the room does not always have anything to do with coziness in the end.
The length of the room from the window side to the door is about 9 m ! Because of this alone, hardly any daylight comes to the door.
All in all for a night or two ok. For a longer stay I would not book the hotel anymore.
