We stayed at the Dorint because it was close to where our friend lives. It is a nice hotel but pricey. We had lunch there and paid 8 Euros for a bottle of water, which we didn't think was even a liter bottle. The room was nice, AC, Some English channels, clean and comfortable.
We had not taken breakfast because they charge about 30 Euros per person for the typical German breakfast. However, we took it for one day because our friend wanted to meet at the hotel and they happened to have a special of 15 Euros per person. We included our friend in the breakfast but the hotel charged us the full price even though we told them she was our guest. What was even more upsetting, is she arrived late and breakfast was closing so all she could get is some cucumbers and tomatoes! She ended up paying for a coffee at the bar! We were not happy to have to pay 30 Euros for a small plate of cucumbers and tomatoes. I realize she was late, but nevertheless, their breakfast is ridiculous at that price especially for what you get.

The breakfast is a disgrace; the price-performance ratio is not even close to acceptable.
The breakfast at the Dorint Hotel Hamburg-Eppendorf is unfortunately not recommendable in any way: The scrambled eggs were NOT made from fresh eggs and were seasoned with an unbearable aftertaste, presented as a large lump without the necessary fluffiness; the cold cuts were largely tasteless, and the Franzbrötchen were sticky, tough, and apparently from the day before. For 29 EURO, it is an absolute outrage regarding the price-performance ratio. For me, it is one of the worst hotel breakfasts I have ever encountered.

Lovely hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the ac worked well. The beds were comfortable and nice feather down duvets and feather pillows. It was nice that the windows opened for fresh air especially when the weather was nice. The hotel offers a nice full buffet breakfast with eggs (to order), sausage, bacon, breads/pastries, fruits, yogurt and more which we added on and took advantage of upon arrival. There is a small grocery store and bakery around the block and a larger grocery store about 10 mins walk. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants within 10 mins walk of the hotel and a beautiful park just up the block. The area was great - very walkable. I will stay here again on my next trip to Hamburg.

All was very fine. The hotel is very good placed . The stuff is friendly and you get all you want at the breakfast. At Eastern all guests got a little bunny infront of the door, very nice.

Very good hotel for wheelchair-users
We stayed in a wheelchair accessible room in this hotel for a long weekend and were very happy. There is a disabled-parking bay right in fron tof the entracne just for the hotel, but it also has a direct bus connection with a station at the doorstep to Hamburgs main train-station and the old town. To get to the harbour you just need to change once from that bs to tpo the underground, all wheelchair-accessible. At the hotel the access to the bar and the restaurnat for breakfast is all flat as well and our room was spacious and well-adapted. The hotel is located directly next to the large university clinic in Hamburg-Eppendorf.
