Gladly again

Last weekend we spent two nights at this hotel on the occasion of a birthday. Checking in went - even without prior appointments - friendly and smooth. The room was clean, big enough for two nights (with a longer stay I would have liked a larger closet, wardrobe and more storage facilities). Right on the first evening we tried the wellness area with sauna, infrared cabin, rainforest shower and massage lounger. For two people more than sufficient. It only becomes problematic when even more guests want to use the area. Infrared only designed for two people and if then the massage table is still used as a rest bed, not quite in the spirit of the inventor.
Breakfast buffet large and varied, room service (cleaning and linen change on Sunday if necessary). The supposed retro look did not bother me in our room, was tasteful and homely and could not be topped thanks to the good value for money. All around bus stops of various lines, good connections to the city center.
Only smear the worn bathrobes and that you step on your toes in the wellness area in several or go on your mind with eternal chatter.

Outside hui inside Pfui

The room did not meet our expectations at all. The mattresses so sagged that you painfully remembered the feathers and all the body parts fell asleep. The bathroom (shower and shower head) mouldy and dirty in places. The shower doors were difficult to pull and it was impossible to close them completely. The toilet flush also partly broken. The ground dissolved in favor. Breakfast was okay, even if I expected more here. Staff were always friendly.

It's okay.

a hotel without infamy and without praise, I left my power adapter there I wrote to the hotel we hope they send it to me.
advice:
- to put a bottle in the room on arrival that there is (there is only one candy)
- the bed cushion is very uncomfortable
- make available also the conditioner
- give a welcome kit with toothbrush and toothpaste.
Everything else is fine.
Please return my adapter!

A surprisingly good find!

We needed a hotel for 2 nights to visit an event in another town and things were getting booked up, but we found the Bavaria. It was a bit of Ingolstadt city centre but we felt that didn't matter. A hotel in a residential area? Probably wouldn't be brilliant...
But it was!
The area is quiet, which was very good. The room was tidy and clean (if maybe needing a touch up of a paint here and there). Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty (the breakfast room had clearly recently been renovated and could stand up to something in a major chain). The swimming pool area, though small, was ideal for a quick dip after a long drive. More than that, it was a nice addition to the hotel. The small garden in the back is clearly tended lovingly and was a delightful place to have an evening drink. Service was *extremely* friendly.
For those worried about it being outside the city centre, there are regular buses from two stops a few minutes' walk away (the nearest was about 3 minutes) and it's not expensive to get into the city.
Would we return to the Bavaria? Yes, we would and are considering doing so!

Nice family hotel

This hotel is situated outside of Ingolstadt center, but still within nice walking distance (ca 20min) in the area where there are only one family houses, so keeping it very quiet to stay. Parking good and easy to access. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room was nicely situated allowing to view of the whole area from lovely balcony. The amenities in the bathroom was disappointing as there were only two individual packed shower gels available. Those are tricky to use when being wet and the amount is not necessarily enough either. It would be better to have standard bottles on the wall rather. Breakfast was good, although not so quickly refilled after it got emptied by visitors.
