Lovely clean rooms very helpful and friendly hosts. Nice big room, easy to park lovely breakfast in the amazing old wine cellar basement. Great place to stay!

Staff is courteous and has a good command of English. The hotel itself has a great, homely atmosphere with the unique experience of having breakfast in an old wine Celler. The hotel is also located about 5-10 minutes walk from the train station which has easy service to Würzburg and Nürnberg. In Nurnberg the Main train station is right across the street from the old town.
Only down side is that if you drive yourself you will have to park on the street. The street that the hotel sits on has free parking. While I was able to find parking there both times I stayed at this hotel, the parking area tends to fill up during the day.

The hotel is family owned and operated. Breakfest is traditional German fair, very good and plenty of it. The family that operates the hotel are truly lovely people. THis was my first time back to Kitzingen in 30 years.

Customer care extraordinaire

Wow! The very young owner/ manager (Chris) works so hard to please his guests. He personally took care of a few minor issues we had immediately and made sure we felt at home in his boutique hotel. The room was clean and quite up to date.
We loved the breakfast. Fresh plump raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries. The eggs were cooked the way we like them, and the bread was so fresh!
We will be back for sure.
