Staff great. Relocated to accommodate preference against lifts. Spacious apartment with good AC during heatwave. Only issue was that the TVs provided were not tuned into local channels and we couldn't cast devices to use (just kept saying WiFi not avail). As a result they were a bit pointless. We would have liked to use as World Cup was on!

Adagio aparthotel Colonge

Room - was ok clean and had everything we needed, no cleaning whilst there, towels was not changed, cleaning once a week.
Breakfast- absolutely shocking wouldn't waste your money, scrambled egg, pancakes and sausage (definitely wasn't sausage) no bread for toast.
Staff - there was one female staff member was absolutely lovely couldn't do enough for you, the rest of the staff was rude and ignorant and you could tell they just couldn't be bothered with the guests.
Location - walking distance to everything, 15 minutes from airport.

For an extended weekend full of Ok.

For a short trip (5 nights) to Cologne to visit several events over a long weekend we had chosen this hotel, where at first glance we were fine with price/performance as well as the location for reaching the events.
Since me and my girlfriend are not a big breakfast eater, usually a yogurt or a croissant is enough we have booked our double room without breakfast, because here the price for buffet is disproportionately expensive. Nearby we had also discovered a café, which for us had the better breakfast offer in terms of quantity and price. Otherwise, there is also a REWE nearby if you want to buy yourself bread and jam.
The room was mostly clean. There were some dust residues on one shelf or the other. The kitchen we had not used much except for the fridge but were kindly advised at check-in if we should cook but open the window. The smoke detector is almost directly above the stove and has often led to unwanted alarm messages.
Unfortunately, the room temperature was not optimal. Although already on the ECU was set to the maximum minus, it was much too warm so that you often slept at night rather without a blanket. Presumably here the central heating was simply set too warm or otherwise a defect on the control unit. Was probably still set for Cold Winter and not for Warm Spring
The staff at the reception gave us a warm welcome on arrival and the check-in on site , as well as the check-out, went without any problems. Payment for the room was requested at check-in and was only possible by card.

Urgently needs cleaning and modernization!

The hotel is well located. Close to the Cathedral of Cologne and has nearby restaurants and supermarkets. But I didn't like the facilities. Despite being a fit, with kitchen, bedroom, living room, bathroom, the hotel peca and much in conservation and cleanliness. Everything looked dirty! The bathroom seemed like it hadn't been clean in a long time! There was mold all over the box! The kitchen was also asking for cleaning!!! In four, it wasn't a double bed, but two single beds together, with single bed clothes and I was bitten by a bed bug! Furthermore, there is no towel exchange and no wardrobe Service. The hotel has its own parking and costs € 27,00 per day! The reception staff is very helpful. But I would never host myself again.
