Lovely quiet inn

Small quiet inn on a quiet residential street. Easy/convenient checkin. Clean and well lit room. Comfortable beds. Clean bathroom. The breads and home-made jams at breakfast are wonderful. A tablet in every room. Good WiFi.

I can't think of anything about this story !!!!!

Hello, we were last weekend at the Neckarbett in Lauffen, it is unfortunately not recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The 1. Room with balcony was not vacuumed on the balcony hung the full ashtray, the floor in the room was not vacuumed, the bathroom was not cleaned on the surfaces ( wall, tiles, etc. ). You had the feeling there hadn't been cleaning for several days. Now comes the bang, the sifon at the sink is completely leaking!!!!!!!!!!!!! We called the emergency number and we were offered a room change, which was exactly the same as described above, !!!!!!!!!! We are not fussy !!!!!!! but for 89 € per night you should at least be able to expect that everything is clean. During the phone conversation they told you to take care of the dripping sifon yourself !!!!!! Refund there was no !!! We then left a day early, thank God!!!!!! The lady is probably sitting somewhere in Macedonia we were told and probably cares very little about this actually beautiful house, which is heavily worn in several places. It gives the impression that you want to make the least amount of money here. Not recommended !!!!!!!!!!!!

Unprofessional and non international-friendly.

Very unclear check-in process (emails provided only in German). They charged me for a service I was not able to use. Very unfriendly for international travelers, not mindful of language barriers and, in general, extremely unprofessional.

Ideal overnight stay for a biking tour

This is a very modern, super clean and efficient place. Has a large garage for bike storage, which easily accommodated our 14 bikes. The staff were friendly and they served us a good breakfast. Located conveniently, close to the railway station in the lovely town of Lauffen. Bedrooms are large and well equipped. I also found the beds very comfortable.

Cancellation procedure is a rippoff

I stayed there one weekend, never saw anybody of the staff, parking situation is terrible!
I made reservations for the following weekend but my business trip schedule changed - I tried to cancel my reservation 2 days before - they charged me 80%!! of the room price and one breakfast during my first stay which I never received.
Response time is very slow - so far I didn't get the money back for the breakfast. The town was packed that weekend - I don't think they had any problems to fill that room but still charged me with the 80%. I will never go back there!
