Fine stay with some areas for improvement

We stayed here on an all-inclusive basis, excluding drinks.
We found the drinking policy very unclear. For a carafe of water €5 per person is charged and also soft drinks, beer, wine and coffee / tea are charged hospitality prices. It was only on the last night that we were told that a separate drink formula is available for this.
There are coffee and tea machines at the buffet. During breakfast you can use this, but in the evening this is put on the bill without clear warning. This is not indicated at the reception, buffet or vending machines. You logically assume that you can just use these machines. A simple sign saying that coffee and tea are not included in the evening would avoid many misunderstandings.
In addition, we find it strange that you pay for coffee / tea that you get yourself and tap, without service or extra service that you get with water, soft drinks and alcohol.
During our stay it was very hot. Especially on such days you can expect to respond to this. However, there was no air conditioning or fan present, either in the cottages or in the dining room, making it very stuffy inside. Fans in the dining room and perhaps umbrellas at the cottages would already make a big difference.
We want to conclude on a positive note with the fact that the food was otherwise fine. The manager of the hospitality industry was also very friendly, helpful and service-oriented. We really appreciated that.

Expected more - but okay for two days/nights.

Buffets good, indoor pool closed in summer, outdoor pool without sun protection, no fan, poor int. communication, partially worn-out rooms

Disappointing ,after years of satisfaction

For many years we have been very satisfied ,but that has completely changed with the last party WE.
It started on the party train.
350 passengers and only 1 dance car!!!
We boarded in Hamm (which is very early) and there was no way through to the dance compartment.
For about 20 years we have been going to the Eurostrand (often even twice a year) and drinking only Havana club with Coke.
If you pay a lot of money for a WE, then you want to drink what you like best.
Now we arrive on Friday and are told at the counter that Havana no longer exists.
Simply removed from the drinks list!
Sad and disappointing at the same time , because you just reacted with a shrug when asked , although according to the drinks menu there is still Havana.
For this reason, we will now cancel our already booked trip for 10/2026.

Party time Leiwen

Hello! We were there with some friends on this party weekend and were really disappointed! First, the positive things: The facility is a bit old, but everything is clean and the staff is friendly and endeavourful. The food is excellent. Why this was such an absolute disappointment for us is quite simply stated: The age difference. We are also not the youngest anymore, on average 44 years old, but we do not fit in our late 60s or 70s. You can't do that. And the thing that excites us the most is simply that we were told on the phone several times that you would pay extra attention to make sure the age average fits. It's all just shit! I can only advise everyone who really wants to party, find something else, there is at two o'clock. at night the music is off I can only say money sunk and learned out we will never come back !!!!
