Authentic Indian restaurant

Great Indian restaurant, very nice owner.
The dishes we chose were extremely tasty, great sauces, good seasoning. On request there was a very hot sauce.
Absolute recommendation, no 08-15 Indian ...

Big disappointment

Unfortunately, our expectations for the grill show were deeply disappointed... Absolute mass processing. Absolutely overbooked, therefore no more seats available on the terrace. We were supposed to go inside where we were ignored... We sat at the table for 15 minutes and no waiter came. Despite a clarifying conversation on my part, no accommodation was possible. The guest does not come first there... We will not give this establishment a second chance... More show and appearance than anything else...

Not recommended

We have been here regularly for Christmas brunch in recent years and mostly satisfied. However, this year has been very disappointing.
Due to illness, we wanted to cancel in time, as several family members were affected. We were informed that the brunch was still to be paid in full, on the grounds that staff had already been planned and bought. In order to avoid the costs, we finally showed up sick, which we really wanted to avoid.
Unfortunately, disillusionment on site: inattentive service, clear mass handling and an only average food quality at a price of 59.90 € per person.
Especially annoying: Water was not included. It was put on the table without asking and later calculated separately for us non-transparent and not customer-friendly.
For us it is clear: We will not be brunching here again or attending any other events.
It's a pity you lose long-time guests.

Very disappointing service – no communication and no reliable staff!!!

We only wanted to postpone our booking at the Elbhotel Magdeburg for a week – but that turned out to be almost impossible. We have been trying to make a simple change by phone for over eight days.
One employee was barely responsive on the phone and seemed completely overwhelmed. Another colleague promised to take care of it immediately and send us an email confirmation – this has not arrived to this day, over 24 hours later.
Since then, we have not reached anyone: All that remains is a reference to a mobile number where no one answers the phone. We have never experienced such unprofessional and unreliable behaviour in a hotel business.
Unfortunately, we absolutely cannot recommend the Elbhotel Magdeburg – neither the service nor the communication are acceptable.

Pension - No hotel

Overall, the house is ok. You have to make friends with spiders and small animals on the ceiling. Barbecue buffet on Wednesdays and Fridays price-performance overpriced. Quality unsatisfactory.
Positive is good for relaxing. One visit is enough. Gives better accommodation in Magdeburg for this price.
