Very good food and very friendly service.

The food is abundant and very delicious. The steak, the burger and the schnitzel are excellent. The side dishes plenty. No statement can yet be made about the hotel operation, but the restaurant has convinced and on another visit to Marburg, an overnight stay is also planned there.

Super for families

We've been coming back here for years. The rooms are tidy, the breakfast very delicious and our children love the great outdoor area! Very tastefully decorated, the restaurant is also very delicious ! By bus you are quickly in the city.

A great hotel.. gladly again

A great hotel... everything is well thought out and lovingly made.
Very quiet location. We would come again just for the breakfast.
We live too close to sleep... Wetzlar. We were here for medical reasons to stay overnight. A good tip if you have to go to the sleep laboratory, 2 minutes on foot.

Great food, ok accommodation

First, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. The hotel is pretty with a free parking lot for our car. We used the car to get around, however there are buses you can take. We also walked around the neighborhood for ice cream, bakery, and a small but very well stocked market. There aren’t many restaurants in the area so we ate at the hotel which was simply amazing!!!
The room was clean and simple. My reason for not giving it a five star is that there was no hand soap (which is why we ventured out to the little market) and one dispenser of soap in the shower. Basically the bathroom had toilet, shower with one dispenser, sink, towels, and blow dryer. There wasn’t a coffee maker or water in the room, but that’s not really a big deal. The Samsung tv was nice and there was also a mini fridge. No USB charging so make sure you have options. I also liked the windows with shutters to make it comfortable for sleeping.
I would stay here again knowing what little extras I’d have to bring for myself. Still strange that no handsoap provided in the bathroom though, that should just be provided.

Hotel Carle

Very nice hotel for a holiday in Marburg, Germany. Not close to the inner city or old town but very good value for money. Excellent breakfast are served - good food on menu with outdoor seating area for warmer days. Play area for kids. Bar and small lounge area.
