Super clean super friendly

Extremely nice hotel in the Bavarian Forest. You can go on lovely tours from here. Everything is very clean. The rooms are elegant but functional and equipped with everything your heart desires. Very nice breakfast. Super friendly staff. Great value for money.

Lovely family Gasthof

We spent 1 nicht in Fischer Veri Gasthof. Frau Fischer was lovely, food is great in the Restaurant. Breakfast was hearthy and with good variety of dishes.
Rooms are partly renovated, but very clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel,but be aware of NO credit card payment

We visited this lovely hotel as a night stop over on our way to Hungary..The room was clean,comfortable.Rooms has a balcony but it shared with other rooms and the evening kids were quite noisy.Breakfast was basic but enough to set you off on your journey.At check out we have told that they only accept EC or Maestro card,what clearly only Germans had...No Visa/Master or Amex.We needed to go to a cash point to get some cash out.
Nice,clean little hotel in Bavaria,but be aware of the No credit card( no trust)

End of the Road

Inexpensive hotel on the main road to the Ortsmitte (middle of town), which in this case is no big thing since traffic is light and the Ortsmitte is basically the end of the road. Room was decent sized, bath with some toiletries, towels we're actually fairly good. Shower had a door, so no billowing curtain. Plenty of hot water. Bathroom was a bit dark with the light bulb wattage provided.
Beds were comfortable with very fluffy feather comforters. Small flat screen on the wall. No bed room mirror for putting on makeup while bathroom is occupied.
Breakfast buffet of hard boiled eggs, buns, breads, jams, cold cuts and cheeses, juice and coffee.
The evening meal at the in-house restaurant was good and inexpensive.
Relatively good WiFi in the rooms !!!
Friendly owners/staff, not sure if anyone speaks English.
Visit Sankt Englmar, only a few miles away, there's a rodelbahn and several other activities for the young at heart (my top speed was 38 mph) near the WaldWipelWeg attraction (turn left when heading back to Sankt Englmar from the Wipel Weg).

Budget Country Hotel

My wife and I stayed one night here recently after visiting Regensburg and Straubing. It is somewhat outside of Straubing. Although the postal address is Hunersdorf, it is actually in Mitterfels. It is probably helpful to use a GPS device to locate the hotel.
We agree with the previous comments made and would add that we ate here at night and found it to be good value for money.
