Gemuetlichkeit.and friendly People..you find it in this Hotel and Restaurant

We booked weekend rooms for 18 peoplefor a family reunion uniting cousins from Germany and the USA for the first time in 20 years that here at the Rhoenperle Hotel very short notice, Because our original destination cancelled us at the last minute and left us stuck...The Rhoenperle Hotel got all of us comfortable settled with beautiful rooms,and a privete room for our party.. we could not have found a more wonderful family style Restaurant and Hotel anywhere.We were welcomed with smiles, offered coffee right away..plus we were able to bring our own celebration cakes..Our waitress was with us all afternoon and evening and attended to everything with a sunny disposition, and stories about the immediate area..our Dinner was amazing..the travelers from the USA wanted Schnitzel they came in many versions, so tender it was unbelievable. of course,mine was a huge schnitzel with peppers and onion, and per my request they found me hotsauce an item not requested very often. There was beef with horseradish sauce,was amazing, several tender pork dishes, it was all excellent.Big orders of Pomme frites and a salad with more fresh herbs you can name came with all orders or Potato Crocettes..the soup we started with, was outstanding and very tasty. You got plenty of food for a very reasonable price. Our Hotelroom was nice,very pristine bedding with a comfortable doublebed german style..like our king size, tables, chairs and television, also per request you got a password for wlan/wifi free of charge...The bathroom with shower was nice, and we had a Balkony. the next day we enjoyed a german breakfast buffet that WAS included with the Hotel room price, Hard rolls, ciabata buns, lunchmeats cheeses softboiled eggs, ham and egg , tomato and fresh mozarella and herbs, joghurt cereals, jellys, juices on and on coffee,tea and mineral waters..it was super and the best thing to eat before traveling on.I am planning to return next year and I will stop there again ,explore the wonderful area and all its sight, my thanks to the Familie Jahn, the owners, for making this an unforgettable weekend at short notice for my family here and across the ocean.And I noticed we werent the only ones enjoying our stay, there are several framed achivements for the Hotel Restaurant, all well deserved..

Hotel Brilliant, Always is

Travelled to Motten- Kothen for business and stayed at this lovely hotel. The hotel is clean, fresh and very comfortable. Plenty of parking,. Breakfast is very varied and set me up for the rest of the day. Loved relaxing in the Irish pub, had a few to be polite. Rooms are very clean and comfortable,I had a double room with en suite,, the bed was nice and comfy .Staff were great and spoke English very well and various other languages as there is a camp-site down the road so the campers would visit and have a lovely evening meal and beer which are served in traditional stiens, nice touch. would defiantly visit again when I'm in the area.

Auf keinen Fall wieder - Kellner Kuno hat kein Lust oder keine Ahnung von Service

Nicht noch einmal - das Restaurant gehört zum Campingplatz mit vielen Durchreisenden. Dementsprechend ist der Service uninteressiert an seinen Gästen.
Bestellung aufgeben - nur nach 3 Bitte möglich.
Essen dauert dann weitere 45 Minuten. Nachfrage wann es denn käme wurde unfreundlich beantwortet - „kann ich auch nicht sagen“

Hartstikke goed Duits restaurant

Op de terugweg op de camping hiernaast gestaan. ''s Avonds hier heerlijk gegeten. De schnitzels zijn lekker mals. Ook de bijgeserveerde friet en rösti waren uitstekend. Lekker krokant en precies goed gebakken. Ook zijn de gevraagde prijzen zeer aangenaam. Enig puntje van aandacht is dat je alleen contant kunt betalen. Houdt hier rekening mee aangezien de dichtstbijzijnde pin automaat 5 km verderop ligt.

Die Rhön genießen!

Zweckmäßige Unterkunft für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Zimmer sauber bis auf die langen Haare im Bad. Balkon müsste mal gekehrt werden.
Wlan sehr schlecht.
Direkt nebenan ein sehr schön angelegter Campingplatz. Im Haus gibt es ein Restaurant, das wir jedoch nicht getestet haben.
Der Ort ist sehr ruhig. Am Sonntag Abend ist dort nichts los, ab 22 Uhr alles zu. Also rechtzeitig mit Proviant versorgen, um nicht zu verdursten. Im Restaurant kriegt man am Sonntag nach 22 Uhr nichts mehr, nicht mal was zum Mitnehmen. Da hört die Gastfreundschaft leider auf.. Schade!
