Very convenient

Stayed 4 nights in a junior suite on the first floor. Room and bathroom as shown, comfortable and spacious, well heated.
All that's missing is a mini fridge bar. Cleaning is done on request, we did it after 2 days and were performed well.
We booked without breakfast but being the first of the year, so everything closed, we stopped at the hotel. We were so satisfied that then we had breakfast every morning. Wide choice for savory, a little less for sweet. But all good. Worth the expense (outside a cappuccino can cost almost 5 euros).
Great location, despite being outside the center, but always in metro zone M. Metro, tram and bus stop 5 minutes walk.
Would definitely stay there again. Good value for money.

The perfect weekend and business hotel in Munich

We spent a long weekend in Munich as a group of friends, with day trips in and around the city. When choosing the hotel, the primary question was: Center or periphery? Do we want to stay near Marienplatz to be able to be everywhere directly, or rather a bit outside, with good public transport connections? We decided on the periphery: the Best Western Arabellapark is located a bit outside the center, but in a very quiet area, the Richard-Strauss-Strasse or Arabellapark subway connection is right around the corner and is safe and easy to reach even at night.
The decision was perfect: not only is the hotel really great for such stays, it is also conveniently located: not only quiet, but also on the edge of a pedestrian zone with a supermarket, drugstore, bakery, so that you can easily provide for yourself without long trips.
But back to the hotel itself:
Arrival by car
The hotel is easy to find; just follow the GPS. Parking is the difficult part: while the hotel does have around 10 outdoor parking spaces directly in front of the entrance, these must be reserved, and they are expensive. Directly next to the hotel is the entrance to a huge underground garage. The parking spaces that have direct access to the hotel are located immediately to the left after the entrance and are marked with Best Western Arabellapark. If you use the underground garage, do it right here: you have direct access to the hotel's basement and can take the elevator from there to the reception or later to your own floor. But like the parking spaces themselves: parking is an expensive treat; 35 euros per night is not far off from the room rate.
Alternatively, you can park on Arabellastrasse directly in front of the hotel. It should be noted that the side where the hotel is located is free and unlimited, while the opposite side requires payment. On the weekend, it is quite possible to find a spot on the hotel side, but on weekdays, you have to be very lucky. It is therefore best to budget for at least one day in the underground garage if you do not prefer to keep your car covered and dry anyway, or if you need to charge it: there are 4 charging spaces in the underground garage with 11 kW AC power that can be activated separately.
Reception
The reception is clean, bright, and efficient: Check in, add the missing data via tablet (the registration authorities now even require the ID number), and you are done. You can then get to the upper floors with the help of the room key, which also activates the elevator to those floors. The staff at the reception is friendly and helpful.
Rooms
The rooms are wonderful: beautifully furnished, with 2 very comfortable beds and a clean, truly practical bathroom & toilet including a rain shower (but also a normal shower head for those who do not like standing in the rain). The rooms are perfect, especially for weekends, because there is no large closet. The luggage rack, a drawer underneath, a large wardrobe for hanging clothes above it—that is all there is. For me, it was perfect. The large windows can be closed almost light-tight with the thick curtains, and the air conditioning keeps the temperature at a constant, comfortable level. I am at home in hotels a lot for work, and this Best Western is one of the most pleasant, in every respect.
Bar / Breakfast
Next to the reception, there is a bar and spacious seating areas for everyone who is waiting, who needs to kill time in the evening, or who has time to enjoy themselves for other reasons. The service is friendly, and the selection, from coffee to alcohol to cake, is extensive. In the morning, there is a huge buffet: when I was here last time, we ate there every day; this time we went out to bakeries. Not because of the hotel breakfast, it was simply a majority decision by our small group of friends.
General / Conclusion
When I come back to Munich, I will stay at this hotel again. It is in a quiet location, but is easy to reach, both by car and by public transport. The rooms are perfect, clean, and well-furnished, but above all, quiet. The underground parking garage right next to the hotel offers not only parking spaces but also charging stations, so you can charge overnight. I still had enough power in my car, so I did not need to charge, but all 4 charging stations (11 kW AC) were free when I was there. The only criticism of the hotel: the underground parking spaces are simply too expensive at 35 EUR per night. But that is probably Munich…
Depending on how you book, the prices are interesting: this time we only booked rooms, no breakfast or other extras. However, there are special packages that fall under "vacation," with which the stay over the weekend is cheaper and/or linked with additional services, e.g., a public transport pass for the weekend. It is worth studying the hotel's homepage more closely; some combinations that are only offered there are cheaper in a package than booking separately through supposedly cheaper travel portals, if you then have to buy the other services separately.
My second stay at this hotel confirmed my opinion from the first time: it is one of the best hotels for short stays, long weekends, or business trips in Munich. Above all, it is extremely clean, practical, and yet very beautiful, from the architecture to the room itself.
The only point of criticism, though it is not really one: I was asked at check-in if I wanted room cleaning. No, I did not want it, but I received it anyway. If you are already asked, why is it then not implemented accordingly? But it was okay; if it had not suited me, I could have said something. So if the only point of criticism is too much cleanliness, then you cannot really complain. The hotel truly deserves at least 5 stars.

Very pleasant stay!

I can recommend this hotel without reservation. The price-performance ratio is excellent: Very comfortable, clean, and attractively designed rooms, with a comfortable bed. Above all, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The city center is easily accessible by tram and subway. There are a few good restaurants right by the hotel. Restriction: You cannot book a suite with dogs. And the rooms above the restaurant garden terrace are less quiet in the evenings when there are guests there. However, I was able to change the room immediately. There are many free parking spaces in the neighborhood. I will definitely come back. Thank you very much for a great weekend!

Everything you need.

The hotel is conveniently located in Bogenhausen, the rooms are practical and nicely furnished, it is clean, and everything you need is available (including a kettle for tea or coffee), and the staff is very friendly.
