Nice hotel 10min tram from Munich Hbf
Due to unavailability on check in they upgraded me to a suite for Titanium members for last 4 nights.
Complimentary breakfast in lounge; discounted rate 12 euro per person in main restaurant.
The lounge breakfast more than adequate!
The lounge dinner not too many hot food so not ideal for dinner.
It served prosecco!
The back guy in lounge dinner was rude.
Otherwise all hotel staff were great.
Gym was decent with three machines and a good double pulley station but dumbbells only up to 14kg.
Not a bad place to stay except for longer commute.

Excellent.
The M Lounge was very pleasant. The food selection was limited, but good quality.
The staff here was also excellent.
We look forward to our next visit.

A four-star hotel that feels like a five-star
Let's start with the room. It was spacious, modern, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Everything was in very good condition and the cleaning was simply impeccable.
But breakfast… wow. This is something else. The choice is so extensive that at some point you start trying to figure out what could possibly be missing. We can help: for a four-star hotel… nothing.
Eggs made exactly as you want them, cured meats, yoghurts, vegetarian options, good coffee and even champagne. And, most importantly, everything was very good quality. Honestly, the breakfast is easily at the level of some of the best five-star hotels we have stayed in.
The restaurant (Assoluto) is Italian and the food was perfectly fine. We had dinner there twice and enjoyed it, especially thanks to Joe’s attention, but the menu is a bit limited. After two dinners, we decided to look for other options.
As we were on a road trip, parking was important for us, and this Marriott also did very well here. There are plenty of large parking spaces and, on the lower level, a clever system that allows two cars to park in the same space. The only negative is the price. We found it clearly too expensive for the location.
And then there is the staff. Honestly, this is one of the things that made the biggest difference for us. Everyone was always extremely friendly and helpful, and we really felt welcome throughout our stay.
A special thank you to Lara, who helped us in Portuguese and was always very nice. To Maximus, for the patience to make our eggs exactly the way we wanted them. And also to Janifer and Matilda from the breakfast team, who really made an effort to make sure we always got what we wanted.
A special mention also to the friendly concierge Mihdi, with whom we shared our days of adventure, and who was always available to help us!
All in all, this was without a doubt the best four-star hotel experience we have had in years.
It is really difficult not to recommend this Marriott. *****

Location not central but 15 mins taxi to most parts of city

And location: you need to take a tram to the city center but it’s only ten minutes and the stop is at the front of the hotel. For us it was ok because we tend to go to the town in the beginning of the day and come back in the evening. Also there is a train station within 15 minutes walk where you can easily take a train to the airport without main station hassle.
