Cozy hotel in an idyllic location with room for improvement in service and the kitchen.
The location is idyllic and quiet, not far from the Spreewald with many excursion options, although a car is needed.
The room was clean and spacious, and the beds were comfortable.
At that time, it was quite cool, and the heating worked surprisingly well, both in the room and in the bathroom. The window even had a fly screen.
The carpet in the room is somewhat worn, as is the hallway.
In other hotels, guests receive a complimentary bottle of water as a welcome gift; here, a bottle of "Selters" costs €3!
My daughter used the wellness area and found the pool and sauna areas appealing. However, they charged €10 for the bathrobe, which is outrageous!
The treatment of guests is certainly in need of improvement.
The lady at the reception was very cold, initially ignoring us, with no sign of a greeting. Furthermore, the reception was often simply unstaffed.
When someone finally arrived, it felt as though being a guest was more of a nuisance.
I also noticed that some employees cannot speak a word of German, and this is in a German hotel!
The breakfast was acceptable overall.
Dinner was served buffet-style from 6 to 8 PM. Comfortable seating was no longer possible afterward, especially since the dish cart kept clattering along the tables.
Unfortunately, I cannot share the positive reviews regarding the food.
It was not very varied and resembled a cafeteria buffet that had been kept warm. It was very meat-heavy, the vegetables were overcooked, and did not look appetizing. A salad buffet would have been nice. The dessert was always the same: pre-packaged pudding and canned fruit.
It is worth mentioning that all drinks were free, and guests could help themselves as often as they liked.
Lastly, the beautiful and large outdoor area with the playground, seating options, and the recreation hut with billiards, table tennis, foosball, etc., deserves praise.
However, the beautiful surroundings are of no use if one does not feel welcome as a guest. The staff urgently needs training.

Wouldn't recommend
The massage was unfortunately not good and the masseur unprofessional.
To relax, I would choose other hotels in the future.

We would love to come back with a wheelchair user
.. Play area should be warm, budging box missing, to the pool poor entry, as the hotel is barrier-free the pool should also be usable with a lift ...instead of cigarette vending machine prefer one refrigerator per floor
Maybe consider moving dinner to 5 p.m. and offering simple dishes for lunch... Fast food...

Not recommended
We also booked 2 full body massages for my husband and me. The stated 60 min are approx. values. The massage was about 50 min, whereby a distinction was made between man and woman. After an “enough, no further” the massage was over relatively quickly. The food was ok but by far in need of improvement.
At the reception, our “accusations” were dismissed as: “that is in the eye of the beholder.”
Definitely not recommended.
