Nice apartment with friendly host

Like:
Super friendly staff. Upon arrival we could access the apartement directly. Afterwards we got extra information about the facilities (swimming pool, ...) and places to see in the neighbourhood. Apartment is equipped with all you need (including dishwasher) and plenty of gear to cook etc...
Since we were there when COVID measures were active, all was done to have a safe stay. Hand gel is available, sauna and swimming pool has to be hourly booked in order to manage the crowd (max 8 people in the pool, most of the time we were alone in the pool with our family of 4).
You can have your bread delivered in the morning, but I preferred to have a nice 10min morning walk to the bakery.
The apartments are located in quiet neighbourhood and we had a balcony with mountain view.
You can choose to park your car in the underground or in the outdoor parking lot.
Dislike
The 2zimmer apartment has a sleep/sofa bed for the children. It doesn't include a real slatted frame so it was pretty hard to sleep on it. When I spoke about it with the staff, they admitted and said they were looking for a thicker mattress for visitors to come...

Disappointing for the price

Sorry to be the first to comment here, but for me some things are not right here in the offer resp. Value for money.
The resort is located in a very nice area, but this resort does not correspond to what you might expect in my opinion for 115 EUR p.N. with direct booking or about 135 p.N. via booking and before the high season.
Next time we probably go back to neighboring Ebbs or Kufstein.
It starts right now with the check-out time at 9 a.m. I haven't seen anything like this in a long time. Normal would be 12 with late check out subject to availability or for a small extra charge.
You should take out the garbage yourself, otherwise you face a fine of 60 EUR. Not in the frame at such prices. And no, this is definitely not common in Germany in 2025. Maybe that was when the wall was still standing...
WiFi didn't work most of the time, tested with multiple devices. Probably too many on it, or no 5 GHz / 6 GHz support.
The fact that you can't pay with a credit card when booking directly is an absolute joke in times where this costs the provider on average only 2% of the turnover. That the non-European without a SEPA account is then probably referred to Booking and Co and should pay over 15% surcharge, while in southern Europe every kiosk around the corner now accepts all cards, is something we as customers must no longer accept. In Greece, Spain or Italy, I can buy a wine in any village with KK without whining.
In our apartment A4 were only towels for hands or head, for the body there were none in the usual size.
The sauna is advertised, but there are no sauna towels. Even the normal towels in the apartment could not be used for this, because there is at most one baby on it.
Speaking of baby: I asked beforehand if there was a baby cot. On the day of arrival, however, it turns out that there are not enough cots for everyone. They cost almost nothing, but are not so easy to transport on the plane if you have to carry some other things for the baby. Why isn't there one for every apartment?
Finally, a few positive points: The apartment was reasonably cleaned, the mattress quite OK and the check-in uncomplicated.

Scammers

We stayed here for 1 night in transit to Austria. After a week asked where the deposit back payment remains. We don't get it, because we didn't empty the trash can and didn't take the beds completely. According to the owners this is in the appendix on their booking site, since we booked through booking.com we had no knowledge of these "rules" as if we had delivered the entire app full of garbage and not clean. Truly outrageous, especially not booking with these scammers! Friends who stayed here the same night with family exactly the same. A warned person counts for two!,,,,

Very good and well maintained apartments in a very nice location

To start off with: The host couple is amazing! Super-efficient, super-helpful, super-friendly and making one feel home from the minute you arrive! 6* and ''excellent'' rating for this great service
The apartments themselves are very nice, bed rooms and lounge are well equipped and spacious if you travel as a couple or family with small kids; kitchens are a bit tiny if you travel with several people and want to cook, but "ok'' and also including everything you need with fridge, oven, kettle and coffee machine - and offers lots of facilities and entertainment within the complex, including a (relatively small) indoor pool, a very well equipped gym, a very nice playroom (or even two, I think).
Since 'Wifi' has been mentioned before - all there, working pretty well, not the strongest signal at times but hey, you're on holiday and shouldn't be on the Internet or streaming movies all the time anyway, right? :-)
Also very good is the proximity to the centre of Oberaudorf (walking distance +/- 15 Minutes), several great activities to do (you have to try the ''Flying Fox"!!) and opportunities to travel to Austria within a few minutes and explore Kufstein and other places close-by
Why not ''excellent'' then? Let's put it this way: If we had traveled with small kids, I think I would have given a 5* all along; since we were hoping for a relaxed and quiet family holiday, we lost out quite a bit on the latter aspect......
Would we go back? Possibly, but then insisting on the rooms on the top floor :-)

definitely all 5 stars:
the appartement had all one needs. kitchen stuff to cook a feast (no microwave by the way)
daily fresh bread service.
clean area and especially clean spa area. pool was super for lots of fun with the whole family.
location excellent. direct access to many hiking trails. walking distance to city center and the hocheck bahn.
the owners are super helpful, friendly and know what they do.
price/return—> all 5 stars!!
