Relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings

A beautiful wine and guest house that offers everything you need to feel at home. The rooms are comfortably furnished and clean. The wine that is produced here tastes very good. The holiday home is the perfect place to retreat and enjoy the peace and quiet. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely recommend it.

Weingut und Gastehaus

We were allocated a studio room up two flights of stairs. This was a spacious clean room for 4 people but it was also very warm on an August night, with no a/c or fan provided in the room. No toiletries provided either, other than liquid hand soap. Communal fridge/kettle are available on bottom floor, no water supply next to the kettle though, so if you are in the studio it means down & up two flights of stairs to use the kettle. What was a quiet road on the night we checked in turned into a surprisingly busy road from 6am, so had to close windows. I would also be cautious about booking this room with young children as one of the windows is rather large, it opens wide & it’s a big drop from the second floor.

Nice place to stay

This geusthouse was a nice place to stay. We had a lovely room, and we had some small wine tasting so that we could order some of their wine. The bathroom was a little small, but nothing to small. We had a room on the road side, and this gave some noise during the evening. The people from the hotel were very kind, but a little shy that sometimes it was a little akward, but it was just from being shy we thought. It's a good recommendation to stay at in this area! Clean rooms and all you need for a one night stay

for a sleep-only stopover unbeatable price

this winery is renting out guest-rooms, operating a restaurant and serving their own wine, all at incredibly low prices, but you get what you pay for. located about 70 km northwest of karlsruhe and close to the french border, this b&b offers a pretty run down hardware, a restaurant that typically only serves one dish (flammkuchen - euro 5-7), beer and wine (a bottle will set you back 7 euro). while the the flammkuchen is ok, the wine is not (get one at aldi for 2 euro). the room will set you back another 25-30 euro. in that particular region that's the best deal and suitable for a quick sleepover. the software is incredibly sweet: the nicest german country-people one can imagine. simply because of them, i would be back. i'm german, didn't know how sweet germans can be ...

overnight great

family stopped here for 1 night from ferry through to austria, 6 hrs from dunkirk, good value, good breakfast, the courtyard is used but not too loud, the road through village is small but used quite a lot, rooms clean, not very good reception on tv, but to be honest was very tired and the bed was comfortable, very good food served in bar/courtyard, would use again if i do this route.
