Great buildings, lovely place. Here you will come again

For the second time in a row we have been at Alte Zollstation. It was again a good experience. The room was tiptop, very clean and with good space. The buildings are incredibly beautiful. The hallway on top is bright, very wide and with floor planks larger than railways. The host family previously had a hotel in Rosenheim, where we also stayed. You feel welcome in the family.

Absolutely recommended – we will always come back!

We have now been to the Alte Zollstation four times and are thrilled every single time. The service is simply super – the entire team is extremely friendly, attentive, and very eager to make the stay as pleasant as possible for the guests. The personal, family-like atmosphere is especially nice, as the hotel is family-run.
The Alte Zollstation is a beautiful, historic building that has been renovated with a great deal of attention to detail. The rooms are very nice, stylishly furnished, and modern. The bathrooms are also really great and leave nothing to be desired.
The location is excellent: Numerous lakes, including the Chiemsee of course, can be reached in a few minutes. This makes the Alte Zollstation a perfect starting point for excursions and activities in the area.
The price-performance ratio is also top-notch. Added to that is the cozy restaurant with its beautiful beer garden, where you can wonderfully wind down the day.
For us, it is certain: We will definitely come back! Anyone who values friendly service, beautiful rooms, a great location, and a warm atmosphere is in exactly the right place here.

Very lovely countryside hotel and restaurant

Hotel is in a lovely historical building, we stayed in a main building. Room had nice design and was spacious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom had good and modern shower and there was enough space for toiletries. Breakfast was good and had varied choices.
Staff was very attentive and friendly and overall atmosphere of the place was free and unforced.
The only minus I can say was that in the rooms facing the road there was a traffic noise (it truly is quite loud), but it only disturbs you if you want to open the window.
The hotel is in a convenient distance (by car to Prien 15 min) if you want to visit the Herrenchiemsee Palace.
I definitely recommend the hotel and also the in-house restaurant!

Summary: I'm fine.

We were at the restaurant for the birthday party with 35 guests.
The tables were nicely set. The food was praised by all guests only in the highest tones. The service left nothing to be desired. The whole society was provided with the respective food in the shortest possible time. So we could all eat at the same time. The supply of drinks went smoothly. The price-performance ratio is also not objectionable. Quality doesn't exist for nothing.
A small part of the guests stayed at the customs station. Rooms are clean and tidy. I would say high standard. Breakfast is plentiful and good. Everyone can help themselves at the self-service counter as much and as often as they want.
We also had children between the ages of 2 and 9. They could let off steam in the restaurant and in the big hallway.
Summary: I'm fine.

We'll be back. Lovely place

The hotel is renovated with great respect for the beautiful old buildings. Everything works perfectly and staff and host family are extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely bright and friendly. The beds good and there was clean everywhere. Food and drinks were as it should be.
