Outstanding
Ideal for some time off everything with a good book.
Would have loved a map with jogging tracks or some indications about sport facilities as a gym or a pool.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Shortly before the wedding, we booked an additional room for my parents (83 and 82 years old, 110 km journey).
On the day of arrival and the event, we received an email from the hotel with information about their "comfortable" self check-in. It described that the keys for 2 rooms are in key box X with the code xxxx, and the key for the additional room is in key box Y with the code yyyy (these are examples and neither the correct room numbers nor the correct codes).
Furthermore, a mobile number was provided at the bottom of the email that one could contact in case of problems.
So far, so good.
At around 2:45 AM, we stood in front of the hotel. Key box X worked and contained 2 room keys. Key box Y...... WAS EMPTY!!!!!
How good that a mobile number for problems was provided. We called them right away but...... THE PHONE NUMBER IS NOT ASSIGNED, we were told by the automated voice. So, we called all the phone numbers we knew from the hotel and did not reach anyone with any number. Plans changed, my parents took the one room and when they entered, they hit a wall of heat. In the room, it felt like 40 degrees. All windows were closed. No one felt responsible during the day when it was 41 degrees, but to ventilate it. Air conditioning - nonexistent. So my parents, at 82 and 83 years old, had to spend the night in a "sauna."
Back to the location to pick up the newlyweds, who were supposed to take the 2nd room (yes, the hotel knew about the wedding). They also hit a wall of heat, and there was a foul smell in the room, so they decided..... WE ARE NOT STAYING HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! SO WE HAD TO DRIVE ANOTHER 20 KM (IT WAS NOW 4 AM) TO SPEND THE NIGHT ON THE SOFA AT OUR DAUGHTER AND SON-IN-LAW'S PLACE.
The next morning, the hotel called back at 11:56 AM, and the lady on the phone said - I should have called at night........
When I informed her that a key box was empty, she just said "Oh."
After I explained everything to her, including the overheated rooms, she said she would pass it on.
My parents were then charged the proud room price of 174 euros for one night in the sauna after a VERY UNIMPRESSIVE BREAKFAST!!!!!
HOTEL KOLLEKTUR NEVER AGAIN.
WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR AN APOLOGY!!!!
I only gave one star because I had to.

A nice retreat in the country side
Clean, good food, good wine and friendly service.
I stayed there several times, it is a nice little retreat in the country side away from the large German cities. This a very quiet place, I always sleep with the windows open, it is that quiet.
I always enjoy staying there.
