I recommend!
The room was made the two days we were there.
Small chocolates were placed on the beds, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
The mattresses were very comfortable.
10min from the station
The only downside it could get hot very quickly in the room and the room was a bit far from places to eat.

AN OLD AND POORLY MAINTAINED 3 STAR
Old and poorly maintained building. Sad rooms, without any maintenance and very superficial cleaning (faded and chipped furniture, panels held together with insulating tape, shelves and curtains stained with paint, wobbly fixtures, frayed towels). On a cool, humid evening in April, the heating was turned off and, when it was turned on only on request, the radiators became barely warm. Hot water is only available in the evening, although the owners claim that the boiler is on 24 hours. on 24.
Good quality dinner with generous portions, but with a totally improvised service (dishes brought to the table by the whole family, including children). Bring them heated to a room bordering the dining room, separated only by a fabric curtain a few centimeters away. from the stove, however with a strong smell of gas spread throughout the room.
Excellent breakfast.

We will not come back!
The welcome could at least be polite if not warm. The room is basic, the dust is not cleaned under the beds, no supply of toilet paper, lukewarm water in the shower. We didn't have lunch. It's not very expensive but I think for the price you can find better elsewhere.

Great location, but pretty average. Expensive and hungry breakfast.
We were surprised, in the middle of the black forest, to come across a breakfast without speck, without scrambled eggs, without sausage. In fact, breakfast is 100% Halal, and too bad for you if you were planning to taste the fantastic AOP black forest ham. Few fruits (it’s true that in August, it’s difficult to find). And this is not indicated on the site when booking. Plus, it's expensive.
