Friendly and easy

Business flight FMO, night before we enjoyed a good meal ( gutburgerlich) and a nice beer.
Simple check in and out. Clean rooms with Mediterranean colours. Just a view miles from the airport, so it is easy going. Breakfast a little simple.

A welcome sight

Myself and my fellow traveller needed somewhere to stay, on the spur of the moment and the Hotel Stegemann came to the rescue.
Checking in was simple enough and we were allocated room 18. The room is on the first floor, so up the stair we went. These are just inside the main door. No lift. Top of the stair there are 2 vending machines. One of them dispensers beer! The room is just past the machines on the left.
There were 2 single beds, low down as usual. Wardrobe behind the door. Table to work on underneath TV. Not many channels to choose from. Plug sockets close to the table and the usual 2 pin socket. No kettle but free water. Prefer free Beer, please?
The beds, comfy 8/10 with clean linen. They are fairly low down.
The bathroom had a shower, sink and toilet. And some free soap. The towels were clean, though small. They did the job.
The bar is just behind the reception and that is where we had a few beers and our evening meal. The food was outstanding! Again they have a local twist to a national dish. Be brave and go wild with your taste buds!
Breakfast was taken in the main dining room, opposite reception. There was a nice selection again . You can choose from continental or warm bacon and scrambled egg.
We arrived by car, car park is free. Other hotels take note. Not sure of the local buses.
The hotel is a few K's from Munster-Osnabruck airport. So a taxi could be used if needed.
The hotel does have a pool, not used and a bowling alley, not used. The bar was enough enjoyment for me.
As with all the places I visit the staff help make the stay more enjoyable and memorable. I need to brush up on my German!
The only problem I had here was with the Wi-Fi. It worked on one device and not the other.

Saerbeck

Small, adorably quaint town with a STELLAR energy park and community energy program! The hotel accommodations were clean and the breakfast was nice. There is no elevator and the stairs are circular, halls long- so be prepared if you have heavy luggage (this was a challenge for me and I'm healthy!)

Übernachtung für Tagung

Reibungsloser Check-In, schönes Zimmer, gutes Platzangebot. Frühstück war dem erwarteten Standard entsprechend gut. Sehr großer Parkplatz. Gut erreichbar, direkt an der Hauptstraße. Vom Verkehr bekommt man im Zimmer allerdings nichts mit. Schwimmbad vorhanden, habe ich allerdings nicht genutzt.
Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt! Für die nächste Tagung gerne wieder, dann mit Badehose!

Zufall und super

Hatten eine Idee. Wollten im Münsterland ein Bier trinken und sind hier gelandet. Service schnell höflich und kompetent. Essen sehr gut zubereitet. Würzung und Garpunkte stimmten. Sehr gerne wieder. Empfehlung
