I was in Sankt Andreasberg for business and can recommend the Angelo Spa without hesitation, I felt very comfortable in the 5 days.
-Very nice operators
-Clean and cozy rooms
- Delicious breakfast
-Beautiful spa area

Appearance is deceptive
We booked a deluxe room here for an anniversary because the website promises a high-quality spa experience. On site we were unfortunately very disappointed.
The spa area is very small and only open from 4–10 pm – far too limited for a hotel advertised as a wellness hotel. We haven't found any rest rooms.
The deluxe room had only a 1.40 m bed, no bedside table and the hot tub came without instructions. There were minimal toiletries in small bags – not appropriate for this price range.
Renovated at first glance, but on closer inspection many unclean works. There were no information folders or hints about hotel times. The room was just a dirty, laminated menu.
The “restaurant” is more of a snack bar with a very small selection.
Price-performance does not fit the online presence at all. We would not recommend it as a spa hotel.

Price-performance ratio insufficient
We had some expectation of this hotel due to the positive reviews, the photos on the website and the high price - unfortunately we were very disappointed.
We didn't even receive a reply to a detailed message sent to the hotel after 4 weeks - a reasonable accommodation could have had a positive impact on our overall impression. The fact that there isn't even time to answer is the final negative point that leads to this 2-star rating.
We cannot make a recommendation and would advise you to consider the following points that we noticed.
The hotel or a stay is not generally negative - but the price and photos suggest a completely different holiday experience. Here are the numerous negative points we have perceived in this way:
-WiFi hardly works
-Shampoo & shower gel in far too small individual bags (no dispensers in the bathroom - far too little shower gel overall)
-No room service on day 2
-No toilet paper holder (only the storage holders)
-Hot tub on room does not work properly (bubble function)
-Hot tub on room significantly smaller than photos suggest (in no case suitable for 2 people as not even sufficient for 1 person to lie completely and comfortably in the water)
-Room significantly smaller than photos suggest
-Bed with 140cm too narrow for comfortable sleep for two
-Only 1 bedside table and 1 chair in the room, although booked for 2 people
-No wardrobe or similar - also no storage area for suitcases
-No possibility to play e.g. card games, as no table and only 1 chair (you are basically only lying in bed if you are in the room
-At 3 pm no information about what is offered for dinner
-pool and whirlpool in the SPA area significantly too cool - no relaxation possible, only cooling down after sauna
-In the room there is a laminated menu with a few dishes, but without any indication what it is all about (if this is the choice for dinner, it would be completely insufficient, both in terms of the variety and type of dishes)
Conclusion:
The price-performance ratio is absolutely wrong in our eyes (we paid over 520 euros for 2 nights - in our perception a maximum of 120 euros per night would be appropriate to be able to overlook the above points. This would also be, in our view, a reasonable price according to the standard of this hotel, which does not produce false expectations)

Small spa hotel
The hotel is a clear complex with only three floors and not too many rooms. The welcome from the staff is very friendly, you even get a short tour of the winding rooms.
The rooms are clean and well furnished, there are good dark curtains, and it is very quiet - the soundproofing from the other rooms is surprisingly good. The exposure was also well thought out. The jacuzzi in the room wasn't really clean, and it was so loud that you didn't really want to use it.
The spa area is good. In addition to four saunas, there is a sufficiently large swimming pool. The light could be a little better, it was sometimes too dark. One of the saunas was switched off and the others are so small that there is room for a maximum of 2 people. Luckily, the spa area was almost completely empty, even though the hotel was busy.
The breakfast was good, there was a lot of choice (eggs, grilled cheese and sausages, cold salad plates, cereals, sweet pastries). There were also fresh oranges for the juicer.
All in all a good stay.

Ihr seid einfach klasse
Es waren unvergessliche Tagen, die so viel Erholung und Kraftaufbau beschert haben, wie noch nie zuvor.
Die Lage ist genial, das Personal, das Hotel selbst, Spa-Bereich, der alle Tage für mich alleine war, das Zimmer mit dem Jacuzzi, das Frühstück – einfach klasse.
