This family-run hotel is located on the Rehberg mountain on the border of Harz National Park, just a short distance from the Sankt Andreasberg spa park and numerous ski slopes.

Disasterous overbooking
When we arrived at the hotel we got a nasty surprise. They did not have room for 7 and directed us to another pension in the village. This was not what we agreed to and also not feasible as not all of our ladies can walk uphill. The hotel personnel were not communicative at all, provided no apologies , showed no compasion and were not friendly. No suitable solution was offered. Our group was devastated and angry. Eventually we found a housing elsewere.

Scammers
With almost a year booked in advance and having had contact several times, there was suddenly only 1 double room available, instead of the reserved rooms for 7 people.
Then, as a 'satisfaction', we were introduced to the guest house 2 blocks away (Jachthütte). Was all set-up and in cahoots, top-shelf con artists. DO NOT go there!!

Unfriendly, unprofessional, bad hotel
There we were with 7 people after a long journey and that in the Whitsun weekend.
No excuses, help or otherwise!
Highly unfriendly lady.
From the neighbours we heard that this occurred at least a few times a year.
This hotel is definitely not recommended

Very disappointing
When we wanted to check in an uninterested lady asked what we were doing. When we said we had a reservation a year ago, she said she had no rooms. Without any compassion and excuse.
Were sent to a B & B with an old, what later turned out not so friendly lady.
We always book a hotel so that when we arrive we can put down the engines, and then have a drink and eat.
Now we had to go downtown to eat.
Although I have had contact with Divna several times in advance, who did not show himself, there has also been no apology via mail and no response to our mail.
Very disappointing. Think carefully when booking here.

Very bad experience , strongly discourages
More than a year in advance we had reserved rooms for 8 people for the Whitsun weekend. In the period since, we have been in contact with the hotel several times by email, so there could be no doubt about our reservation.
After a very long drive we arrived on the day of arrival, only to be told that no rooms were available. There you are with 7 people during a busy Whitsun weekend, without sleeping.
What made this situation even worse was the way it was handled. No appropriate excuse was offered, no help was offered in finding alternative accommodation and no responsibility was taken for the problems that arose.
In the end, we ourselves had to find an alternative in the same village at the last minute. In addition, we have asked on several occasions for compensation for the difference in prices caused by this, but these requests have never been responded to.
For motorcyclists and groups who need to be able to rely on their confirmed reservation, I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel. They leave you out in the cold, A reservation does not appear to be a guarantee here.
