The stay in the hotel and service is very good, one request caused problems.
I only made one mistake, I had forgotten something in the room. After a few hours I called and was asked to come back the next day.
I wrote an email asking for information about the shipping costs of €20.
I was asked to pay €5 for processing.
The price of €19.49 for the post to Austria seemed too high to me.
After checking with the post office in Germany, the price was €6.49.
After that, an email was sent to reception, which wrote with a justification: We assumed that your price limit only applies to shipping.
We do not know the prices of the German post office. These also depend on size, weight and destination country.
The €5.00 processing fee is absolutely justified for the time spent packing and taking the package to the post office.
The statutory minimum wage is currently €12.41 per hour.
This additional work (packing/running errands/payment process/creating an invoice/writing an email, etc.) took at least 30 minutes.
We assume that you will arrange payment of €24.49 within 14 days.
My answer to this:

You didn't even have to leave the house to go to the post office, hand it over to the postman, it says on the post office website.
As a result, I was charged a price that they demanded, and I didn't ask for an invoice either, I just asked for a delivery option.
If you had sent me a cost estimate by email, I would not have agreed and would have given up on the belts.
You have taken a route that does not seem right to me.
To be precise, if you had sent the package according to Deutsche Post's guidelines and also charged me a service fee of 5 euros on top of the postal charges to Austria of 6.49 euros, this would only be 11.49 euros, so I had paid 8 euros too much and transferred it.
My concession is, keep the 8 euros, we live in a new world where many things have been simplified and you can work from home yourself.
Everything should be possible in Stavenhagen too.
The fact that the post office or DHL is only in the immediate vicinity of the hotel (100 meters) and only takes a few minutes means that I cannot accept the costs.
Unfortunately, customer service is far away, the customer is no longer king, he just has to pay for everything!

Found this hotel late in the night
Not exactly a hotel to spend many nights but if you are in the area this could be an affordable option.
