Simple, good, affordable

Spacious room, friendly service, good, inexpensive breakfast, uncomplicated. Free parking. Affordable.
The building is made of concrete, you can hear trampling and furniture being pushed around.
Conclusion: very good value for money

OK for one night

We spend only one night at Heuboden as we needed a place as a stop over. Beds were nice and rooms Big and clean but the hotel is located in a very boring area next to a supermarked.
Breakfast was ok but not special.

Low budget and acceptable

The place is close to nearby Freiburg and that is the reason why we stayed there. We visited the Christmas market in the region with a minimum of cost and met with our friends from all over Germany.
The hotel is located on the edge of an industrial area and also of the village of Umkirch and that is perhaps the reason why space is not an issue. With our group we had three rooms on the top level of one building of the complex and in one unit there was a large kitchen where we could party. Equipped with fridge and table.
The rooms were very clean, large and the standard was average.
There is a disco or event facility next door and maybe people come from far to stay there and to make party. But we didn't have a disadvantage from that.
The breakfast is for 5€ per person low cost but also poor quality. I would pay 2 € more to get fresh bread and good coffee.

OK

The rooms are large, clean and modern.
we had an exit to small patio,
but there wasn't much privacy as it is in front the street.
The hotel is close to Freiburg and the autobahn.
A lot of free parking places.
The breakfast served in nice dinning room but there is a small selection of food.
The staff are friendly but doesn't know well English.

1 day stay in Umkirch

Hello travelers! If you ask me, this is 5 star hotel. Completely new, very nice, very clean, comfotable, everything perfect. Only one thing is on my mind: a little bit out of Freiburg im Breisgau. But, if you are with car, it should be no problem.
