Hallo,
I booked more than 10 rooms for my guests for the weekend. The staff is very nice, uncomplicated, friendly, finds a solution very quickly in case of problems. My guests praised the great beds and the quiet surroundings, had plenty of slack and relaxation.
Easy to recommend.
Price - performance is top.

Staff friendly but overwhelmed...Cleanliness leaves something to be desired
Staff friendly but just too little. Room unfortunately not clean (hair everywhere), mattress through. Room was not cleaned, although sign hung outside, no towels changed, no soap available, toilet paper we had to request as there was also only one roll available (for 4 days and 4 people)... Breakfast was kept very simple and unfortunately we didn't like it at all

Very pleasant stay
The Heuberger Hof gets 5 stars from us. We base this on the price-performance ratio. It was clean, a nice welcome in the form of a sweet on arrival in the room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was sufficient and scrambled eggs were offered and freshly prepared. It was also awesome that you are very flexible when checking in as the key can be removed at any time from an automatic key box. When we are back in the area we will certainly check back in there. Thanks for everything.

Getting better!
The previous person reviewed in 2016 and I believe since then the Heuberger Hof has made a lot of progress. Work is still in progress (they are still renovating the place) but when it comes to our room it was really new.
Now, I booked this place as we went to the Bang Your Head Festival in Balingen so we did not need anything fancy. Nevertheless, we did not want to stay in a kip either so this place was perfect. Obviously my experience was a bit impacted by the fact that I went there with 2 buddies of mine and we shared the room. The shower well it is not separated from the room so when either one of us took a shower you would show it all but obviously, we were not interested to look anyway. Having 2 buddies that are current world champions in snoring did not improve things.
However, going back to the Hotel: we did not see any staff (we got the key through the automatic dispenser outside) until we went for breakfast. And they were lovely, the breakfast room is so cozy and the smiles of the staff taking care of us made - as it always does - a big difference.
In particular on the last day before leaving we had a super nice young lady serving us our coffee and doing the check out. I do not remember her name but she was fantastic. So considering the price paid and the overall experience I have no issue in giving it 5 points. And for once I may go back to a hotel as the Bang Your Head Festival 2018 has already been booked!

Incomprensioni non dovute alla lingua
Mi sono trovato a pernottare qua per un soggiorno di lavoro. Trasferta dall' italia. Devo dire che la precisione teutonica qui non si è vista. Da dove iniziamo , le lenzuola venivano tolte tutte le mattine, peccato che non venivano rimesse e,quindi il letto non era rifatto. Dopo tutto il giorno al lavoro inseguivo la portiera( per altro gentile a onor del vero) che rivaceva il letto alle 18 30. La colazione aveva un orario dalle 6.30 alle 8.30. Se andavi alle 6.35 trovavi metà menù (Non avevano ancora preparato uova strapazzate e affettato i salumi). Alle 7.30 c'era già metà scelta. Alle 8 un dramma. Ciliegina sulla torta in camera avevo un frigo. Mercoledì è stato rimosso. Non era vuoto. Il contenuto è andato perso. Si salva la pulizia e la solerzia della ragazza alla portineria. Per il resto lo sconsiglio.
