All you need
A four-bed room in a hostel makes total sense if travelling with two kids. Perfectly fine and not even so rough around the edges. Pool table in the lobby and a pancake machine for breakfast. Unbeatable price. Not so far from small and delightful town centre and aswell as Buchenwald. Erfurt also a delight.

Terrible overnight stay
It's really terrible because there's no rest when you want to go to sleep and it's actually bedtime from 10pm but nobody cares about the noise

Only if you are a fan of hostels
For me it was the first and last visit to a hostel. Even if you're just there to sleep, I can't recommend it. Housekeeping is only available on booking via a QR code in the rooms. Although the rooms are large, you have little space to the right and left of the bed. My double bed consisted of two single beds which were pushed together. Those who like hard mattresses and moving beds are in good hands here. The bathroom is small. There is no objection to that. But putting the toilet so close to the wall is impractical. and access to the shower tray is also only for slim ones. Unfortunately, I have a Rubens figure and had to fight mightily and get in and out. The all you can eat breakfast was reasonable and with 10 € also not too expensive.
Breakfast: bread, rolls and toast, pancakes, cereals in various variations and breakfast eggs. In addition to coffee and co., there was also water, apple juice and multivitamin. In addition to jams and nut spreads, there were two cheeses and other bread toppings, such as salami, turkey breast and co. They had butter and margarine to spread on.

No way, real M in a box.
Arrival more than late because of a diversion on the highway that made me turn in circles and finally we had to make a detour of more than an hour, the address is not well indicated, the GPS led us again elsewhere and finally it was a gas station that told us the place of the hotel. The staff is way too slow and extra fees had to be paid with my credit card while I had cash. We had to leave the room at 10:00 so we were not able to rest properly. Basically the m....

Concerning departure, our policy states that rooms must be vacated by 10am, and we apologize if this limited your rest time. But we do offer late check outs until 2pm for 14€.
Regarding the payment at check in: Since April we only accept cards but that is shown on every website.

Disaster
The star is only there because the food was good. Room stunk of fish that it was hard to stand. On repeated indications from the reception that the smell was untenable, nothing was done, not even compensation. If you have to ground yourself again, since you have forgotten how well you are, you can come here.
