Great ice cream

I came here today with my grandma to visit the cafe. The service was great. It was pretty busy but also enough waitresses were there. My grandma had coffee and cake, which was okay. Probably you should know that the cafe is a branch of a bakery, not a cake shop. So don't expect to much from the cake. Although I would not visit for cake I do come here for the ice cream. It's self-made and the cups are big and delicious with fresh fruits.

SeeCafe - Homemade soups on the map. The erpsen soup an imposition!

I was a guest at SeeCafe today, the pastry shop is in the same house. To warm up, I ordered a coffee and a homemade pea soup. The coffee was ok, the pea soup was a bad mess. A thin bland soup, no sausage, no bacon ... nothing ! With two slices of bread, at least that. Waiting more than 15 minutes, you could also let us know in advance. The price 6.90 €, an imposition. Under "Homemade," I had a different expectation. The baked goods and the cake can be good, please remove the soup from the menu immediately. Not again!
By the way ... the large table opposite the order counter is in the back of a "side entrance door", you are sitting full in the cold breeze. The main entrance is just around the corner - can anyone explain to me why this door does not remain locked?

The apple schmand cake was too bite-resistant (the apple wasn't really through), in Frankfurter Kranz the buttercream was too dominant, hardly any dough between the buttercream layers, marzipan cherry tasted a bit artificially like marzipan

Jo da waren wir……

Wir waren zur Hochzeit von Freunden geladen. Anreise etwas später und siehe da die Aufbettung fehlte. Im Haus war niemand mehr zu erreichen. Gott sei Dank bekamen wir von unseren Freunden zu später Stunde noch Kopfkissen, Laken und Zudecke samt Bettzeug . Alles Paletti . Das Frühstück im Kaffee unten war sehr übersichtlich eine halbe Erdbeere . Minimalistisch geschnittene Orangenscheibe , ein Salatblattzipfelchen und eine schöne Tomatenscheibe, 2 Brötchen und abgepackte Wurst und Käse….. naja der Kaffee war gut und Preise gingen auf Grund des Rabattes auch. Parkplätze frei und wir hatten etwas Seeblick. Tischreservierung für Hausgäste zum Frühstück werden entgegen genommen.

Schön und modern

Schöner Neubau direkt am Zarrentiner Kloster gelegen und mit Blick auf den Schaalsee.
Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich das Seecafé (inkl. Bäcker), wo man als Gast der Pension auch vergünstigt frühstücken kann.
Die Zimmer sind modern und zweckmäßig eingerichtet; das Appartement ist sehr groß und bietet ausreichend Platz für bis zu 5 Personen.
