Great setting within the rocks

We stayed 02 nites is this lovely hotel , rooms are along side of the rock mountains... externally rustic looking but the rooms are big clean and well equipped..the bathrooms also large.
Some rooms are at the far end of the canyon ,the hotel provides s buggy service the boys said it was 24 x 7.
Breakfast and dinner ok nothing exceptional...I must say our agent Palms Land SA could not book this place without dinner so we could not have our farm dinner which we had earlier included.
Alula is an amzing place and no picture can give you the feel of the place.
The reception is handled by lady staff , Amal was very helpful n friendly but sad I couldn't see her face except her beautiful eyes.

An oasis in the middle of the Arabian desert

While the hotel does not have great luxuries, it is impressive all its construction and how it is camouflaged with the colors of the sandstones. It is a beauty the place, the night lighting is a blast. The food is acceptable. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel in fantastic location

Sahary Resort Al Ula is located in a small canyon not far from the main road. So the resort is quickly accessible, but on the other hand it is heavenly quiet here. The complex is situated between bizarrely weathered rocks and stretches of desert sand blown here. From the outside, the rooms look very spartan, but inside they are of a high standard and also very spacious. We had room no. 110 which has kettle with tea/coffee, fridge, safe, AC (not necessary), TV and good internet.
The bathroom was okay, the floor quite smooth and it was difficult to operate the shower which immediately submerged the whole room.
The restaurant is located behind the reception. We had a very good evening buffet here with salads, (pretty) European main courses and a good dessert selection. The service was effective and friendly. Everything worked smoothly, even when the power went out several times for a long time.
Breakfast is served from 7am, but since we had to leave early, we could have our breakfast already at 6:30am. This was served in buffet form and was very rich. Eggs could be prepared fresh.
The hotel also has a spa and swimming pool. We didn't use either.

Nice but...

We stayed 2 nights here. The location is very beautiful and suggestive, at night it makes even more. Just see near the canyon.
The room was very nice and had everything, too bad the bathroom tended to flood easily.
It can be improved

Reasonable

Reasonable, the place is beautiful, in the middle of the desert, but the hotel is need to improve, I would say to spend a night ok, but for more nights is to be desired
The bungalows are well equipped and clean.
The dinner was good; I only stayed one night so I can't comment on everything.
staff of the service was friendly
