Fantastic place to get positive energy and inspiration, could not have feel more at home. Enjoy every minute and every detail and I am planning to come back. Thank you Posada San Andres for making my holidays special.

Mixed feelings about San Andrés
The building itself and the grounds are stupendous. However the details are the ones that pulled my rating down. The rooms had very small bathrooms with shower. The beds had one lumpy pillow, no blankets and the sheets were so narrow they didn't tuck in well. The wooden floors had wax polish on them but were not polished so all my suitcases were plastered with wax. There were no carpets in the bedroom so the experience of walking barefoot was not pleasant, the wax traps plenty of dust and sandy pieces. The lamp bulbs were burnt out so we swapped them around so we could get some light from the night tables. The bathroom had one weak light and one dud socket. The swimming pool is quite small, the photo enhances it too much! The service is friendly and kind, the squeezed juice fresh, the breakfast homemade.
The wifi didn't work on the top floor and only sporadically on the bottom floor, a big nono for us.

La Cumbre's finest
Travelling across the expanses of central Argentina involves some long distances and we were keen to spend a few days relaxing in Cordoba Province. La Cumbre turned out to be an excellent option. The town is nestled in the northen section of the Cordoba Sierra, a range of rocky hills and high grasslands. With its English style stone houses and pretty tree lined streets La Cumbre is ever so much more appealing than most of the tacky tourist towns along the main road back to Cordoba. The whole town is amazingly tranquil with no apparent security issues. Posada San Andres is tucked away in a very quiet street at the base of the hills. It is an impressive stone building, with a grand entrance hall and very spacious, with comfortable upper level suites. The green window shutters and heavy stone walls ensured our room remained pleasantly cool despite the hot spring sunshine. The generous grounds include an outdoor pool and barbecue area, and the enormous Peppercorn trees provide a shady place to relax. At night the local silver foxes work their way through the grounds. Quietly spoken Daniel was a friendly and unobtrusive host. Posada San Andres is located on the edge of the town, a pleasant day time walk from the accommodation, although a bit too far if returning in the dark from a restaurant. We spent a very enjoyable and relaxing three days at Posada san Andres.

Hermoso lugar
Una posada ideal para alojarse y disfrutar del encanto de las sierras. Cuenta con todos los servicios necesarios para hacer más placentera la estadía, que incluye, entre otras cosas, un desayuno excelente servido con delicias caseras todos los días, una muy buena pileta, o un quincho con todas las comodidades si uno quiere almorzar o cenar en el lugar. La dedicada atención del personal hacen que uno se siente plenamente a gusto en el lugar.

Típica casona de La Cumbre convertida en posada
Esta hermosa casa construida en 1929, hoy es una confortable posada, ideal para pasar unos días en ese tranquilo pueblo serrano. Cuenta con un muy buen entorno natural, amplias habitaciones y agradables espacios para estar, interiores como el lugar del desayuno y la biblioteca y exteriores, parque y piscina. Se observan muchos cuadros en todos los ambientes, lo que revela la pasión de sus propietarios.
