Great staff!

Excellent hotel, excellent location, excellent breakfast and friendly staff! Especially from Anita, Luisa, Lois & Antonella who made the coffee for in reception every morning! If we are ever in Dublin we would come back and stay within a heartbeat!

Theatre and shopping break

The location is very convenient to the shopping and entertainment areas on the south side of the city especially for our trip to the Gaeity Theatre which was just around the corner. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive. The room was quiet, comfortable and very clean. All of which added to a relaxing time for our stay. We would certainly use again for future visits.

The Marlin Hotel Dublin

Hotel staff were excellent and very welcoming when we arrived. They immediately offered us bottles of water and offered to look after our luggage while we waited for check-in time. The lobby vibe was very cozy with lots of places to lounge, work and enjoy a drink. The coffee and Guiness bar in the entranced was greatly appreciated. The location was also great, providing very convenient access to Dublin tourist attractions, pubs and tour pick-up and drop off locations. It is also very close to a Dublin Express bus stop (Harcourt) which we took from the Dublin Airport. The breakfast was amazing with lots of variety (hot and cold) and attentive staff. The room we had was small but nicely appointed with plenty of outlets and modern design. Hotel and room was clean, secure and quite during during our stay. Highly recommend and worth the extra cost to have this central location.

Not the best for cost

The ground floor is lovely and the room in’s are clean. Is this value for money though? No. By the time I paid for room and breakfast it was close to Eur400 for one night. Pref to pay an extra 100 and stay at the shelbourne or westbury up the road. Room was tiny. The hotel bar was a strictest 12pm shut (bugger when returning back from a gig and just want to round out a night)
Won’t be staying here again
