The location is perfect, quite literally next door to the famous Temple Bar. It is a bit loud at night if you have your window open and the walls are VERY thin but otherwise fine for a night or two. Room was tiny but very clean and a comfy bed.

2 positives, the rest not so good

Ok so let’s get some positives done first.
The picture on the tv was great and the shower pressure was also good.
We paid a lot of money to stay here for one night.
The room was tiny and up 7 flights of stairs to the 3rd floor, we saw no lift.
The room was absolutely tiny, the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in you could only just do a sideways walk around the bed, which would have been ok if I was a solo traveller but as a couple this was too small. There was hair on the quilt cover and the room was hot. We was advised there was soap and shower gel, in fact there was just hand wash as a toiletry in the shower and next to the basin in the bathroom. The bathroom was a quadrant shower with no shelf so trying to put your toiletries on the floor and reach to get them was nothing more than uncomfortable. Being right above the Main Street the room was very noisy until the early hours and the bedroom was hot, yes it had AC but it then was too cold so you switched it off and went back to hot again. There was cheap pillows and not the most comfortable mattress at all. For the money for one night that we paid I would have expected a lot more, This place isn’t it.
Would we stay here again the answer is a simple NO!
Depends on what your trip is and I suppose your age in what your looking for.

Best hotel in Dublin - small rooms, but the location is a must for walking to meet tours and going to the most popular Dublin bars. Very Clean, staff attentive, everything was very well done !

We stayed in room 114. Cleanliness and standard was not an issue but the room was tiny! You could barely use the sink due to the position on the tap. When sitting on the toilet you knocked the loo roll off as it was such a tight space. One night was enough but any longer and I wouldn’t stay here. When leaving in the morning the doors to other rooms on the same floor were open and they were far bigger! So yes, I would stay again, but certainly not in this room.

Hotel was amazing and perfect location! Noisy due to the location but I wouldn't have changed a thing.
