Great Stay

Great little hotel right in the city center, just a few steps from Dungarvan’s nice harbor front. Our room on the second floor was modern, clean, and comfortable – just perfect for our one-day visit. The owner, David, who also runs a little coffee shop on the premises, was super helpful with information about the city and the surrounding area.

Lovely hotel, very charming town

We stayed at the Hatmaker while visiting family in Dungarvan. The hotel was lovely, everything was fairly new and the staff was very very helpful. We booked 2 rooms, one was Luxury Retreat, the other the Mezzanine. Dungarvan itself is very charming and the hotel is right in the middle.
We had breakfast in the hotel, but there was a bakery across the street for 2nd breakfast. And there are plenty of pubs in town, but we did finish the night at the hotel bar as well.

Fantastic Stay

We stayed in this hotel recently for my 40th birthday my wife and I. Honestly I was very impressed with the hotel the decor and the ambience were very impressive. Staff couldnt do enough for us. Hotel is spotless such a nice location right in the heart of Dungarvan. Would recommend for couples rooms are spacious and comforable also and the bar and seating outside is lovely. David was an exxellent host.

Look no further if planning a weekend in Dungarvan!

Beautiful boutique hotel with stunning rooms. Decided on a last minute stay in Dungarvan and delighted we chose the Hat Maker. Delicious cocktails in the sunny courtyard with top class service. Continental breakfast was excellent, tasty smoked salmon/cream cheese on sourdough - regretted not indulging on the croissants! Would definitely recommend to anyone planning a weekend in Dungarvan.

Hotel room lovely breakfast not so much for me

Hotel room was lovely, good size and tastefully decorated. Staff friendly and location ideal. Breakfast disappointing as only contineal and no option of hot breakfast or toast. Crossiants and bread only with yogurt or oats.
